RUDDLE, (Marcus) Gordon, Churchtown – January 29th, 2025, peacefully after a long illness bravely borne. He will be very sadly missed by his much-loved wife Coral, his dearest daughters Suzie and Lynn, sons-in-law Stephen and Jonathan, adored Papa of granddaughters Kate, Ellie, Anna, Sarah, Penny, loving brother to Margaret and Bruce, brother-in-law to Linda and Ronnie. He will also be missed by his nephews, nieces, and wide circle of friends. Funeral Service tomorrow (Saturday) morning at 11:00am in Clontarf and Scots Presbyterian Church, followed by a Committal Service at 1.30pm in the Garden Chapel, Mount Jerome, Harold’s Cross. BURKE-FLYNN, John, passed away 29th January 2025 surrounded by his loving family and in the wonderful care of staff at The Nightingale Unit in Blackrock Clinic having bravely fought for the last 7 months. Lovingly remembered and sadly missed by wife Marie, his children Arianna, Royce & Aston, his son-in-law Jono & daughter-in-law Lisa, his brother and sisters, Brendan, Jacinta, Martina, Maria his sister-in-law Denise and husband Peter. His treasured grandchildren Lincoln, Aaron, Paige, Cooper & Jensen. They adored him and he adored them, they will miss their granddad very much. Reposing in Massey Bros. Funeral Home, Goatstown (D14 X348) today (Friday) 31st January from 5pm – 7pm. Funeral Mass for John will be held in the Church of St. Thérèse, Mount Merrion on Saturday the 1st of February at 11am, followed by a cremation service in Newlands Cross Crematorium at 1.30pm. FINNEGAN, (née Gaynor) Colleen (Margaret), Dalkey, Co Dublin, in her 95th year on January 27, 2025, very peacefully in St Vincent’s Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late Daniel, adored and cherished mother of Donal, Neil, CathyAnne, Michelle, Peter, Alan, and the late Paul. She is sadly missed by her family, daughters-in-law Anne-Marie, Maria, Ana and Jane, sons-in-law Howard and Shane, her loving grandchildren Richard, Killian, Katie, Dan, Peter, Maria, Mark, Aoibhín, Isobel, Seán, Tess, Tom and Sally, great-grandson Navy, her nephews, nieces, sister-in-law Kathleen, extended family and many friends in the Licensed Vintners trade. Remembering also her late brother Sean.
