OGDEN, Denise (née Casey), 2nd February, 2025, peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, at her home in the Cotswolds. Beloved wife of the late Dave and devoted mother to Elizabeth, Siobhan and Clodagh. Adored granny to her four grandchildren. Deeply regretted by her sisters Sheelagh, Ella, Marese, Libby and brother Denis, extended family and friends. May She Rest In Peace. Denise’s Funeral will take place in the UK.

COTTER - Aida. (Clontarf and formerly Aer Lingus). Aida’s sister Angela and her nieces and nephews in England, France, and Ireland would like to thank everyone who attended her Funeral Mass and sent condolences on her sad passing. Thanks in particular to Fr. Michael O’Grady from Donnycarney parish for the dignified service and his kind words about Aida. Thanks also to Aida’s wide circle of friends from Aer Lingus and the DAARA walking group who braved terrible weather on the day of her funeral. And thanks of course for the staff at Raheny House Nursing Home who cared for Aida in her final years.

CUNNINGHAM - (née Curran) Ailbhe Margaret (Hendra, Brisbane, Australia formerly Sligo, Ireland) 6 February 2025, peacefully with family and in the care of St Vincent’s Hospital, Kangaroo Point, Brisbane. Dearly beloved wife of 56 years of William Francis (Frank) and much-loved mother of Niall, Tarragh, Aisling, Margaret and Siofra. Deeply loved Grandma/Nanny of Ronan, Johnny, Henry, Thomas, Francesca and Thea. Daughter of the late Thomas and Margaret (Peg) Curran (Sligo) sister of the late Liam Curran and loved sister-in-law of Olga Curran (Dublin) and Mary and Noel O’Connor (Galway). Remembered with great love and affection by son-in-law Keith, daughter-in-law Rachel, nieces and nephews, god-children, and by her wider circle including many friends in Ireland and around the world. In lieu of flowers; donations, if desired, to St. Vincent de Paul Society

O'BRIEN - Jack, (Churchtown, Dublin), Feb 11, 2024.

Dodie, Jake, Robbie and Jen, together with their wider families, wish to express their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who offered sympathy, support and kindness to them on the loss of their beloved Jack. Thank you to all who attended the Funeral, sent cards and messages of condolences. A very special word of gratitude to Prof Alan Watson, John Holihan, Aisling O'Riordan, nurses Juby and Éimear and all the team in the Renal Unit of St Vincent's University Hospital. Thank you also to Faye and Eric and the team in the Beacon Renal. We will be forever grateful to you all for your professional and empathetic care of Jack.

An immeasurable word of gratitude to the donor and their family for the gift of "LIFE" which they so unselfishly gave Jack when he received a kidney. A sincere thank you to Rev. David White and Margaret Healion who officiated at Jack's Funeral and lovingly helped him on his final journey.

BEATTIE - Frank, Rathfarnham, Dublin 16 (died February 9, 2024). On this the first anniversary of Frank's sudden death his wife Mildred, daughter Suzanne, son Philip, son-in-law Myles and his beloved grandchildren, Matthew, Gavin and Sophie together with his extended family would like to express sincere thanks to all friends, work colleagues and neighbours who sent letters, cards, Mass cards, flowers and food and who placed messages on R.I.P. during that sad time. Many thanks also to friends who travelled from abroad and from all over Ireland to attend his funeral. A special thank you to all the clergy and staff of Taney Parish, Dundrum for their care and attention at that time and during the past year.
