McGUINNESS - Eleanor née Joyce, Knoxpark, Ballisodare, Co. Sligo and formerly of Foxford Co. Mayo, August 8, 2025, unexpectedly at Galway University Hospital. Predeceased by her beloved husband Richard (Dick) and her cherished brothers Tommie, Walter, Fr. Michael, Anthony, sister-in-law Marie, niece Maeve, nephew Stephen. Deeply mourned by her daughter Jennifer Currid (Joe), her sons Brendan (Dymphna), Myles (Martina), her eight Grandchildren, Mark, Jean, Alex, Saoirse, Caoimhe, Ella, Roishe, Michael, her sister-in-law Phil, nieces and nephews and a wide circle of friends and neighbours. Rest in Peace. Reposing at her residence F91 TR64, today (Monday) from 4pm until 8pm and tomorrow (Tuesday) from 2pm until 6pm with removal to Saint Brigid’s Church, Corhownagh, Ballisodare, F91 RH70 arriving for 7pm. BLAKE, Francis (Frank), Prosperous, Co. Kildare and formerly Terenure, Dublin, Friday, 8th August 2025, in his 96th year, after a short illness borne with characteristic fortitude. Very deeply missed by his loving wife of 70 years, Gabrielle (Gay), together with Barbara and Canice, Raymond and Fionnuala, and Margaret and Dermot. As well as neighbours, extended family and a wide circle of friends, including his devoted carer, Geraldine. With special thanks to the medical and nursing staff at Naas General Hospital, in whose gracious care he spent his final days. Rest In Peace.
