HYLAND - Hugh, (Oghill House Stud, Monasterevin, Co. Kildare)

September 26, 2022, Peacefully in the loving care of the exceptional staff of the Mater Private. Predeceased by his recently departed brother Pat. Dearly beloved husband and best friend of Miriam (née Lawlor). Adored father of Barbara Ann (Hewson) and John. Adored and cherished granddad to Hugh, Honor, Flora and Nicholas. Sadly missed and much loved brother of Stephanie (Maher), James, Phil (Murphy), Vonie (Macken), David and Paul. Brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, much loved nieces and nephews, son-in-law Tim, extended family and relatives. Hugh will be loved and remembered by all his family and a wide circle of friends. Requiem Mass at 11.00am tomorrow (Thursday) in St Peter & Pauls Church, Monasterevin. Interment afterwards in St. Brigid's Cemetery, Nurney. House private. No flowers please.

Kildare) - On the first anniversary of Hugh’s passing (September 26, 2022), his adoring family, wife Miriam, children Barbara-Ann and John, son-in-law Tim, beloved grandchildren and siblings Stephanie, James, Phil, Vonie, David and Paul would like to express their sincere gratitude and appreciation to all those who supported us, in attending his reposing and funeral service, the many cards, tributes, visits, and kindnesses shown were so welcome and also to all those who visited and supported Hugh throughout his illness. To Monasterevin GAA who formed a Guard of Honour, Fr. Liam Merrigan and especially all the remarkable staff of St. Elizabeth’s Ward in the Mater Private for whose exemplary care we are eternally grateful. We also remember at this time his brother Pat who predeceased him February 6, 2021. This acknowledgment is a token of our deep appreciation.
