Beloved husband of Joan and loving father of Kieran, Dermot and Emer, brother of Patrick and Declan, predeceased by his sisters Máire and Kay. MAC DERMOTT, (née Russell) Kathleen (Kay) (30 Carragh Hill, Knocknacarra Galway) 12 August 2025 (peacefully) in the kind care of the staff at Caiseal Geal Nursing Home. Beloved wife of Lauri and much-loved mother of Rory, Fergal, Daragh and Felim. Deeply mourned and sadly missed by her husband and sons, daughters-in-law, sister May, grandchildren David, Fionnán, Cathal and Molly Rose, great grandchildren Chloe and Danann, the extended Mac Dermott and Russell family, neighbours and friends. Kay will repose at home (H91E77V) today (Thursday) August 14, 2025 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Kay tomorrow (Friday), August 15, 2025 at 12 noon on arrival at the Church of Christ the King, Salthill. Following Mass she will be laid to rest in Rahoon cemetery. May her gentle soul rest in peace

Very sadly missed by her beloved husband John, her brothers Fr. DAVIDSON - Jill (née O’Mahony) Native of Roscommon. Born in Miss Jackson’s Nursing home, 19 Lower Leeson Street, Dublin on August 13, 1940. Died peacefully in London on July 27, 2025. Resident of Dublin, San Francisco California, Fearrington North Carolina, West Cork and Richmond London. Daughter of the late John and Marie and sister to Elizabeth, Marie, Joe and the late Ellen. Beloved widow of Dave. Beloved step-mother to John and Marge, grandma to Jake and Zeke, godmother to Nicola and Dara, aunt/grandaunt to Ellen, Erin, Charlie, Matt and many others. Lifelong best friend to Marjorie. She was effortlessly stylish, indefatigably encouraging, decent and true, adventurous and brave and great fun. We are heartbroken to have lost her and we will miss our beautiful Giggy terribly. No funeral. Cremation August 7, 2025.
