BEIRNE, Kathleen (née Kavanagh) 18th August 2025 in her 102nd year, late of Coliemore Road, Dalkey, in the loving and gentle care of all the staff at Altadore Nursing Home, Glenageary and the Community Palliative Care Services of Our Lady’s Hospice. Predeceased by her beloved husband Des, her son-in-law Robert, her sister Maura, her brothers Harry, Michael and Tom. Kathleen will always be remembered with love by her daughters Eidin and Deirdre, her sons Ronan and Niall, her daughters-in-law Sheila and Barbara, her son-in-law Ian, her grandchildren Conor, Sorcha (and Antony), Fergus (and Anne), Clíodhna (and Mark), Clare (and Timmy), Robert, Kevin, Cathy (and Ros) and Aisling, her honorary grandsons Yas and Taif and her great-grandchildren Sadhbh, Arthur, Hugh, Liam, Caelan, Éabha, Síofra and Siobhan, her sister Eileen, her cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family and a wide circle of friends in Ireland and across the world. At Kathleen’s request her body has been donated to medical science. Mass will be offered in the Church of the Assumption B.V.M. Dalkey this Saturday 23rd August at 10.00 A.M. Mass will be streamed to the parish web-site. Remember Kathleen in your prayers, may she rest in peace.

McCOY, Jennifer (née Morrow), Roches Point, Cork and late Douglas, Cork and Roscrea. Peacefully on 19th August 2025 after a long illness. Mother of the late Scott. SMYTH, David (Clontarf, Dublin), passed on 18th August 2025 died very suddenly at home in the arms of his parents. FLANAGAN - Edmond (Teddy), (St. Anne's, Elphin St. Strokestown, Co. Roscommon) August 19 2025. Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family in the devoted care of the staff of Mullingar Regional Hospital. Cherished husband of Eileen, much loved father of Gemma and Anita, father-in-law of David and Kieran and brother of Doris (Kildare). Teddy will be forever missed by his heartbroken wife, daughters, sons-in-law, sister, nephews, nieces, sister-in-law, brother-in-law, relatives, neighbours and his wide circle of friends. Teddy is predeceased by his parents Francis and Mary, his brothers, Fr. Des, Bill & Broddy and his sisters Myra, Sr. Venard and Pauline. Reposing at his home (Eircode: F42C567) on today (Thursday) from 5pm until 8pm. Removal on tomorrow (Friday) to the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Strokestown, arriving for Funeral Mass at 3pm. MURPHY, (Armagh and Balrothery, Ballbriggan) - August 17, 2025. After a long illness so courageously endured, peacefully in Beaumont Hospital, Gerard (Spud). RIP. Beloved and loving husband of Mary (nee Dorman) and adored father of Michael, Sarah and Lauren. Deeply mourned by his loving family. His brothers Hugh, Padraig, Martin, Phillip, Colm, his dear sister Mary, brothers- in- law, sisters- in- law, cherished nephews, nieces, god daughter and his many loyal and dear friends. Predeceased by his parents John and Mary and brother Sean. RIP. Gerard will repose at his home on today (Wednesday) and tomorrow (Thursday) from 4.30pm until 8.00pm. Removal from Gerard’s late residence “Glebe House”, Balrothery, Ballbriggan K32 W261 on Friday at 10.30am to SS Peter and Paul’s Church, Ballbriggan for Requiem Mass at 11am. BROWNING, Stan, (Templeogue, Dublin) August 15, 2025 (unexpectedly) beloved husband of the late Rosemary, loving father of Alan and Kara and brother of the late Pamela.
