DUNN - Peter (Sandymount and formerly of Dunn’s of Dublin and The Radharc Trust) 16th September 2025 (peacefully) at St. Vincent’s University Hospital. Beloved husband of the late Phil and loving father of Marcas, John, Paul, Miriam, Eleanor and David. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Oisín, Mia, Akira, Milo and Dylan, son-in-law Liam, daughters-in-law Mary and Mayumi, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Reposing at his residence on Friday from 4.00 pm until 7.00 pm Funeral Mass on Saturday at 11.30 am in St. Mary’s, Star of the Sea, Sandymount, followed by burial at Glasnevin Cemetery. Predeceased by his son Robert and deeply regretted by his loving wife Trudy (Gertrude), beloved children Pat, Ciarán, his dear sister Margaret, adored grandchildren, Ciara, Niamh and Ailish. Sadly missed by daughter-in-law Helen, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, cousins, extended family, kind neighbours and friends. May he rest in peace. House Private. Reposing in Fanagans Funeral Home, Willbrook Road, Rathfarnham today, Thursday 18th September, from 5pm until 7pm. McSWEENEY - Paul (Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin) September 14, 2025, at St. Vincent’s Hospital, following a tragic swimming accident in Dun Laoghaire. Paul, beloved husband of Gemma, loving father of Eleanor, Richard, Hannah and Grace. Predeceased by his parents Mary and Terry. Very sadly missed by Eleanor’s partner Konstantin, parents-in-law Natalie and Maurice, sisters Flo, Brenda and Anne, brother Patrick, sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, his extended family and friends. Reposing at Quinns of Glasthule tomorrow (Friday) from 4pm to 6pm. Funeral Service on Saturday morning (September 20) at 10am in the National Maritime Museum, Dun Laoghaire followed by cremation at Mount Jerome Crematorium. No flowers please. Theresa will be sadly missed by her children Paul (Ann Marie), John (Caroline), Anne (John) and Claire, her brothers Martin and Oliver and sister Bernadette, also by her ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, all her extended family and her many friends. POWER - (née Ryan) Pauline (Dublin, Oxford) (wife of the late Pat Power) – On Pauline’s First Anniversary (September 18), deeply missed and remembered today and every day by her daughter Niamh, sons Gavin and Cian, grandchildren Noah, Fergus, Callum, daughter-in-law Ginny, son-in-law Mark, extended family, colleagues from Oxford universities and friends. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. We remember her strength of mind, spirit, humour and kindness with love and affection. CHRISTIE - Eric (late of Rathfarnham and formerly of Palmerstown), passed peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff at St Mary’s Hospital, Phoenix Park on 16th September 2025. Sadly missed by his beloved wife Susan, mother-in-law Liz, sisters-in-law Zandra and Sally, brothers-in-law Eoin and Phil, niece Sarah and nephews Ross and Mark. Eric will be fondly remembered by all his family and cousins, especially Paul and Clive, his wide circle of friends and best friends Frank and Vincent.
