DUFFY - Lucie - On Lucie’s imminent First Anniversary September 24, 2025, Alex, Con and Laura along with Lucie's grand niece’s, grand newphew and extended family, would like to express their heartfelt appreciation and thanks to everyone for their empathy, kindness and support throughout the past year. We thank those who attended the funeral home and Funeral Mass. We are most grateful for those who sent Mass Cards, letters of condolences, online condolences, shared their memories and affection for Lucie - they meant so much to us. We are deeply appreciative to the Very Reverend Tom Dooley, who celebrated the Mass, his co-celebrant the Very Rev. Gerard Tyrrell and the Sacred Heart Church Donnybrook. Never forgotten, forever missed

TYRRELL - Margaret - Margaret's husband Reginald and children Janette, Nicola and Malcolm would like to express our appreciation for the support we received after Margaret’s recent passing. Thank you to those who attended Fanagan’s Funeral home and Margaret’s Funeral Mass, to those who sent letters, cards or messages of condolence and to those who made donations to the Hospice Foundation. We’d also like to extend our gratitude to the staff at St. Vincent's Hospital and Churchtown Medical for the excellent care they gave Margaret. Margaret is dearly missed, and remains in our hearts and thoughts.

HARRISON - In loving memory of James, of North Wahroonga, Sydney, Australia, and formerly of Foxrock, Dublin, Ireland, who passed away suddenly after a short illness on 11 September 2025, aged 83.

He will be forever, missed by his dearly beloved wife Mary (née Stevens); his loving children Lisa, Steven and Simon; his daughters-in-law Astrid and Lily; his son-in-law Steven; his cherished grandchildren Lexi and Saskia, who were his pride and joy; his sisters Patricia Sheils, Rhona Brennan and Peggy Hickey, and their families and the extended Stevens family; and his many friends in Ireland and Australia in Banking, Golf, Bridge, and Probus; and his neighbours, especially the McGrath family. He joins his eldest sister Eileen Smith, deceased 2005 and his parents Thomas and May (Mary) (née Walsh). Family and friends of Jim’s are warmly invited to attend a mass in his honour to be held on Tuesday 23 September in Holy Name Parish Church, in Wahroonga, Sydney, Australia, commencing at 11.00am.

McPOLAND - Kathleen (late of Naas, Co. Kildare and Belfast), died September 19, 2024. On the first anniversary of Kathleen’s death, her children Brenda, Tony, Paddy, Maureen and the late John, along with their partners and her beloved grandchildren, would like to express our heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised with us and supported us at the time of our Mum’s passing. We would like to thank family, friends and especially those who travelled long distances to be with us on the day of the funeral. We wish to extend our gratitude to concelebrants Fr. Michael Flattery, Fr. Paddy Hennessy and Fr. Paul Binh, along with Brian Dunphy who provided incredible music at the funeral. Murphy’s Funeral Directors guided us with true kindness and professionalism. We would like to thank all the staff at Orwell Nursing Home who cared for our Mum with such dignity. Their dedication, kindness and care over the years was wonderful.
