O'KELLY - Patrick (Pat) (Churchtown and late of Pleasant Street, Dublin 8, Aer Lingus and Music Critic (Evening Press) 1st October 2025 (peacefully) after a short illness in the exceptional care of the staff in Our Ladys Hospice, Harolds Cross. He will be very sadly missed and remembered with much love and affection by his cousins and his close friends. Reposing in Fanagans Funeral Home, Dundrum tomorrow (Saturday) afternoon from 3pm to 5pm. Removal on Monday morning to Newman University Church, St. Stephens Green, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am followed by burial in Mount Jerome Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu to Our Ladys Hospice, Harolds Cross.

CURTIN - Professor Christopher (Chris)(Ballyglunin, Tuam, formerly of The Heath, Galway and The Roadside Tavern, Lisdoonvarna, Co. Clare) 27th September, 2025;

peacefully after a long illness, bravely borne, in the company of his family at the Mater Hospital, Dublin.

Beloved husband of Andrea and loving father to Emily (O’ Donnell), Stephen and Eoghan. Chris will be sadly missed by his wife, daughter and sons, son-in-law, daughters-in-law and by his adored grandchildren. Deeply missed also by his brother Peter and wife Birgitta, nephews and nieces, relatives, close friends and neighbours and a wide circle of former colleagues at the University of Galway.

Reposing at the O’Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue, Galway ( H91 V1K8) on this Saturday, October 4th. from 5.00 p.m. to 6.30 p.m.

A Cremation Service will be celebrated in loving memory of Chris at 1 o'clock on Sunday,October 5th at Shannon Crematorium.
