BEARY - Dr. Maura (former lecturer in University College Dublin. Late of Clonmel and Ballsbridge, Dublin 4) 8th October 2025 (peacefully) in the exceptional care of the Little Sisters of the Poor, Holy Family Residence, Clonskeagh in her 97th year. Predeceased by her parents Catherine and Edward, her siblings Nellie, Anna and Tim. Cherished aunt of John, Conor, Michael, Niall, Tadhg, Shane and Catherine. Maura will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her family, extended relatives, dear friends and neighbours. Reposing at Fanagans Funeral Home, Dundrum D14 F3X2 on (Sunday) afternoon from 3pm to 5pm. Removal on Monday morning to St. Mary’s Church, Haddington Road, arriving for Funeral Mass at 10am followed by burial in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Clonmel arriving approximately at 2.30pm

SLATER - Colin (Dundrum, Dublin) Dear husband of Pamela and loving father of Amanda, Melanie (deceased), Lucinda and Annabel. Colin will be so greatly missed by his family, his grandchildren Zoë, Sam, Joshua, Eli and Jacob, who brought such joy to their Papa’s life, his brother Ian and sister Joan, sisters-in-law Edna and Carol, brother-in-law John, son-in-law George, extended family and friends. In accordance with Colin’s wishes, his body has been donated to the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland for medical research and education. A service to celebrate Colin’s life will be held in Christ Church, Taney, Dundrum on Thursday 16th October 2025 at 2.00pm. For those unable to attend Colin’s service, it will be live streamed. BLAKE - Brídín, (Foxrock, Dublin) It is with great sadness that the Blake family announce the death of their beloved sister, Brídín, who passed away unexpectedly but peacefully at her home in Foxrock. Deeply missed by her loving siblings Carl, Alanna, Gráinne, Colm (twin), Mary and Dermot, sisters-in-law Margaret and Siobhan, brothers-in-law Andy and Kevin, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours, and many friends in the Foxrock community.

Predeceased by, and now reunited with, her cherished parents Bruce and Grace, and her sister Madeleine. Reposing at Massey Bros. Funeral Home, Blackrock (A94X308), on Sunday 12th October, from 2pm to 4pm.

Requiem Mass will be held on Monday 13th October, arriving to the Church of Our lady of Perpetual Succour, Foxrock at 9.40am for reception at 9.45am, words of appreciation will be given by the family prior to commencement of the Requiem Mass at 10am, followed by private cremation.

ROWAN - Brian, Oranmore, Co. Galway and formerly Dublin. Peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff at Bushfield Care Centre, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Geraldine, adored father of Caroline and Edwin. Predeceased by his brother Roland. He will be greatly missed by his daughter-in-law Marian, grand children Lucy, Justin and Seb, by his siblings Sharon, Patrick, Colm, Kevin, Niall, Gordon, Angelyn and Evelyn. Reposing at his home today Friday from 6.00 p.m. to 8.00 p.m. Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Brian at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Oranmore (H91 XC61) on arrival at 11.00 a.m. Following Mass he will be laid to rest in Rinville cemetery. SOMERVILLE-LARGE - The death is announced of Brisbane Peter, who died October 7, 2025, peacefully, in his 98th year, in the compassionate care of Carnew Nursing Home and formerly of Ullard House, Borris, Co. Carlow. Pre-deceased by his dearly loved wife Gillian, he will be sorely missed by his devoted sister Catherine, daughter Vanessa, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Peter's Cremation will take place privately.

A celebration of his life will be announced at a later date.

AUNGIER - Dolores peacefully at home 3rd October 2025. (Cabra and formerly of Defence Forces Headquarters, Phoenix Park and Lloyd, Armstrong & Ramsey). Predeceased by her sisters Eileen, Colette, Marie and brother Desmond. Cherished sister of George and sister-in-law of Eithne, beloved aunt and grand-aunt to her many nieces & nephews. Dolores will be sadly missed by her family, neighbours and friends especially those in the Choir at The Church of the Most Precious Blood in Cabra. Dolores’s Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday morning (tomorrow) at 10.15am in The Church of the Most Precious Blood, Cabra West followed by burial at Balgriffin Cemetery.

Formerly of Trinity College, Dublin and Chalfont St Giles. Died peacefully at Derriford Hospital, Plymouth on September 21, 2025, at the age of 98. Beloved husband of the late Kim, devoted father to Penelope and Lindsey. Treasured grandfather to Hal and Roland.
