LINEHAN, Fergus (Blackrock, Co. Dublin) - November 1, 2016, in the wonderful care of the staff at St. Vincent's Private Hospital. Writer and Irish Times journalist. Beloved husband and lifelong companion of Rosaleen. Loving father to Hugh, Evanna, Fergus and Conor, and father-in-law to Janette, Liam, Sophie and Valerie. Adored Papa of Daniel, Ciaran, Rosie, Maebh, Norah May, Matthew, Fergus and Isabella. He will be sadly missed by his nephews, nieces, cousins, all his extended family and many friends. May he Rest in Peace. Reposing at home from 6.00pm to 9.00pm tomorrow (Thursday) evening. Funeral Mass on Friday (November 4) at 11.00.am in St. John the Baptist Church, Blackrock, followed by cremation at Mount Jerome. Family flowers only please.

McMAHON, Gerry (Booterstown, Co. Dublin and formerly Co. Carlow) November 2, 2020 – (peacefully) in the loving care of his family after a short illness borne with enormous courage & dignity. Beloved husband of Kay, loving Dad to Isobel and George, adoring grandpa to Penelope, Tibby, Arthur, Albert and Alexander. He will be greatly missed by his son-in-law Jamie, daughter-in-law Shan Shan, sister-in-law Carmel, his brother and sisters, George, Eoin, Peggy, Mary, Breda, Oliver, also his many nieces, nephews, close friends and neighbours. His family also remember his deceased siblings Sean, Lauri, Vonnie, Paddy & Brian. Due to government restrictions, a private funeral will take place strictly for family & close friends, but the Funeral Mass for Gerry may be viewed live on Saturday at 11am at www.booterstownparish.ie, and cremation prayers afterwards at 1pm at www.vimeo.com/event/153499.
