REIDY - Paddy (Abbey Avenue, Corbally, Limerick). Peacefully, in the company of Gerry, Joan and cousin Liz (Marrinan) and in the outstanding care of the staff at Milford Care Centre, on November 5, 2025. Predeceased by his wife Ann (née Clune), his father James, mother Julia and brother Michael. Brother of Biddy (O’Leary, Dublin) and uncle of John, Jim and Denis and their families. Paddy will be fondly remembered by his great friends the Clune family (Quin, Co. Clare); Beatrice Clune; Gerry and Padraic O’Connell; Joan Clune; Timmy and Una Clune; Aidan and the late Liz Canny; and all their respective children. Paddy will also be missed by his cousins, carers and neighbours. Paddy will live long in the memories of his and Ann’s wide circle of friends in business and politics in Limerick and everyone he shared good times with in his beloved Kilkee. Reposing at Griffin’s Funeral Home, John’s Gate, on Friday (November 7) from 7pm to 8pm. Funeral arriving to St. Mary’s Church, Athlunkard Street, on Saturday (November 8) for Requiem Mass at 10.30am, followed by Burial in Mount Saint Lawrence (Ext.) Cemetery, Limerick.

GREALY - (Threadneedle Road Salthill, Galway) November 5, 2025 very peacefully, surrounded by family and in the great care of the staff at St. David’s, Gentian Hill. Deeply mourned by his wife Mary, children Michael, Clodagh, Tommy, Eimear and David, sisters Doreen and Sr Helen and brother Desmond. Tom had an impact on everyone he met. He will be sadly missed also by his daughters-in-law Stella, Rachel and Breffney, his four grandchildren Emma, Thomas, Brian and Ben, the extended family and highly thought of friends in particular Miriam Mulrennan. Tom will lie in repose at home in Threadneedle Road this Friday, November 7 from 4 p.m. Parking will be available in St. Enda’s School. Removal at 7 p.m. to the Church of Christ the King, Salthill. Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Tom this Saturday, November 8 at 11 a.m. Following Mass he will be laid to rest in Rahoon cemetery.

KENNEDY - Michael (Rathfarnham, Dublin) passed away peacefully on 4th November 2025 in the gentle care of the staff at St Vincent's Hospital. Michael was a resident in The Marlay Nursing Home, Rathfarnham following retirement from the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions. Predeceased by his father William Kennedy (The Mall, Waterford), Mother Alice Hughes (Killoe, Longford), brothers Ciarán & William and sister Catherine. Sadly, missed by his brother Fr Bernard (Enniskerry), sisters Marie and Deirdre and brother-in-law Michael. Funeral Mass Saturday 8th November 2025 in the Church of the Annunciation Rathfarnham at 11am followed by burial in Bohernabreena Cemetery.

BRANAGAN - Pex (Kathleen) (née Plunkett) – (Blackrock, Co. Dublin and formerly of County Longford) – 4th November 2025. Unexpectedly, yet peacefully at St. Vincent’s University Hospital. Predeceased by her husband Noel and son-in-law Pádraig. Much loved mother of Anne, Betty, Pat, Victor, Frank and Noelle. Pex will be very sadly missed by her daughters, sons, sons-in-law Willie, Graham, David and Keith, grandchildren Sarah, Jesse, Jo, Martha, Josh and Matthew, her step-grandchildren Charlotte and Sophie, sister-in-law Mary-Anne, cousin Brian Plunkett and his family, nieces, nephews, extended family, exceptional home carer Violeta, and her many friends including those in Dun Laoghaire Golf Club. Pex will repose on Friday afternoon (7th November) at Fanagans Carnegies Funeral Home, Monkstown A94 XK28 from 2pm to 4pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday morning (8th November) at 10am in Church of St. John the Baptist, Blackrock followed thereafter by burial at Shanganagh Cemetery.

Dooley - Raymond (Ray), (Oranmore and formerly of Ashe Road, Shantalla, Galway) On Saturday, November 1, 2025. (Unexpectedly). Predeceased by his parents Winifred and Michael, brother Ollie and Ollie’s infant daughter Gráinne. Deeply mourned by his dearly loved daughter Emma, son-in-law Peter, brothers Ger and Frank, sisters Carmel and Sheila, sisters-in-law Martha, Susan and Breda, brothers-in-law Tom and Dennis, nephews Kevin, Barry, Niall, Stephen, Conor and Fearghal, nieces Jaimee, Avril, Shauna, Ruth, Cara and Sorcha, by the extended Dooley and Fox family, neighbours and friends. Reposing at the O’ Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue (H91V1K8) from 5.30pm to 7pm (today) Friday, November 7, 2025 . A Committal Service will take place at Shannon Crematorium tomorrow (Saturday), November 8, at 12 noon. Family flowers only. Donations, if preferred, to Madra. He will be fondly remembered by all.
