JEFFREY - David W. (Howth). (Emeritus Professor Biology. FTCD) 26th of December 2025. Peacefully, at home amidst the Christmas decorations with his family by his side and overlooking his garden. He will be lovingly remembered always by Janet, his wife and soulmate of sixty-four years, his adored and adoring daughters Anna, Helena and Rebecca, sons-in-law Ivan and Neil, daughter-in-law Jools. Proud Grandad of Matthew and Oliver. We are indebted to all his medical advisors, his long-term carer Maureen and the rest of the loyal care team from Dovida. Our heartfelt thanks to friends and neighbours, his many students and colleagues, and the gardening community, all of whom greatly enriched his life. Family flowers only. A celebration of his 88 fulfilled years will be held in Dardistown Crematorium on Tuesday the 30th of December at 2.30pm.
