JOYCE - (née Farrell), Philomena (Nancy) (Clontarf, Dublin) - January 25, 2026, peacefully at home. Beloved wife of the late Joseph and loving mother of Alison, David, Barbara and Carol. Deeply regretted by her heartbroken family, daughter-in-law Rose, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Reposing at the Fanagan Kirwan Funeral Home, Fairview Strand, on Tuesday (Jan 27) with family in attendance from 5pm until 7pm. Funeral on Wednesday (Jan 28) to St. Anthony’s Church, Clontarf, arriving for 10am Requiem Mass. Burial thereafter in Dardistown Cemetery. House private please.

RYAN - Patrick (Borrisoleigh and formerly of the Law Library), deeply missed on the Sixteenth Anniversary of his death by his colleagues at the Bar and in particular by his ‘family’ at the Law Library: Bernard Dunleavy, Elizabeth Donovan, Jadel Naidoo, John Paul Browne, James Burke, Amanda Comyn, Eoin O’Shea, Eithne Corry, Richard Bourke, Ursula Cullen and Venetia Taylor.

SWAN - Sr. Ethna, Dominican Convent Sion Hill, Blackrock, Co. Dublin on 25th January 2026; (peacefully) at Santa Sabina House Nursing Home. Daughter of the late Michael and Sarah (née Healy) Swan of Lobinstown, Co. Meath. Predeceased by her brothers Fr. Colum, Leo, Brendan and sister Nuala. Mourned deeply by her brothers Desmond and Kevin, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, her Dominican Community and extended family and friends. Rest in Peace. MEEHAN - Cyril (Raheny, Dublin 5 and late of Dublin Corporation) – (peacefully), on 24th January 2026, in his 93rd year - (Lifelong Member of St. Vincent’s GAA Club and Past President of Clontarf Golf Club). Beloved husband of the late Ellen (Lynn) and the late Norma. He will be very sadly missed by his loving sons Peter, Cyril, and Kevin, his daughters-in-law Emmanuelle, Margaret and Lynn, his treasured grandchildren Timothy, Ellen, Annabel, Clara, Abigail, Cillian, Lana, Darragh and Ali, his sister Ruth, sister-in-law Teresa and his many friends and neighbours. The death has occurred unexpectedly of Niall Kilroy at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Niall predeceased by his parents Joe and Bridie. Beloved husband of Mary, and dear father to Niamh (Breaffy, Castlebar), David (Edinburgh), and Ian (Ballina). He will be sadly missed by his wife, daughter, sons, son-in-law Enda Mulchrone, daughters-in-law Anna and Mairéad, grandchildren Evan, Mark, Ciara, Georgia, Harris, Daire, and Aidan, sister Olive, brothers Sean, Joe and Alan, the wider Kilroy and Fahy families, neighbours, his wide circle of friends and patients.
