PRENDERGAST, Peter (Pete) Churchtown, Dublin, formerly of Clontarf and The High School, Dublin. On the 13th May 2025, peacefully, in the exceptional care of the Coronary Care Unit in St. Vincent’s University Hospital, Dublin. Much loved husband of Trish and devoted father of Conor, Joe and Orla. He will be immeasurably missed by his loving wife, children, brother Canice, sisters Terry and Kathy, extended family, neighbours and many, many friends. A gathering of Pete’s family and friends will take place at Fanagans Funeral Home, Dundrum on Monday afternoon from 3pm to 5pm. Removal on Tuesday morning to the Church of the Good Shepherd, Churchtown arriving for Funeral Mass at 10am followed by Cremation Service at Mount Jerome Victorian Chapel at 12.15pm. The Prendergast family appreciate your kindness and thoughtfulness at this time. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu of flowers and in memory of Pete may be made to the Irish Heart Foundation. House private, by request. Pete will forever be remembered with love. May he rest in peace.

KEANY, Mary (née Callanan) (Dublin and Lisdoonvarna) – 10 May 2025; deeply missed by her adoring children Danielle, Elena and Derek, daughter-in-law Maria McGrath, sons-in-law John Dolan and Ruairí O'Brien, her treasured grandchildren Robert, Zoe, Richard and Daniel, her sister Anne, brother Greg, sister in law Maureen and dearest friend Phyl Glavin; joining her husband Danny (Desmond J), her parents Malachi and Kitty and brothers Pat and David in Heaven. FARRAR, Sydna (Killiney, Co. Dublin) 8th May 2025, peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, in the superb care of the staff in St. Vincent’s Hospital. Beloved wife and best friend of Richard Barrett, adored mum of Leah, Neil and Jasmine, doting grandmother of Emma, and darling sister of Jane. Sadly missed by her mother-in-law Chris, son-in-law Gergo, brothers-in-law John, Des and John, sisters-in-law Carolyn and Cathy, nieces Lara and Hannah, nephews Greg, Mark and Daniel, aunts Grace and Ruth, cousins, extended family, and many friends. Reposing in Carnegie’s Funeral Home, Monkstown, Co. Dublin (A94 XK28) tomorrow (Saturday) from 3pm-5pm. Funeral Service in Crinken Church (St. James’), Bray Road, Shankill, Co. GREIF, Eveline (Glenageary, Co. Dublin) – May 9, 2024, peacefully, at St Vincent’s University Hospital, Dublin, after a long illness courageously fought. Eldest daughter of the late Victor and Helena Greif, beloved wife and best friend of Tony (Anthony) Macken, greatly loved sister of Vera and John, sister-in-law of Emer, Maggie, Mary and the late Val, much loved stepmother of Laoise, loved “Steppie” of Alannah and Chloe and loving aunt of Seán and his wife Hélène. She will be sadly missed by her family, extended family, her best friend Bernadette and by her many, many friends. A Celebration of Eveline’s Life will take place on Wednesday (May 15) at 10.30am, in Colliers Funeral Home, Old Connaught Avenue, Bray, followed by burial in Shanganagh Cemetery.
