FLINTER - Dan (Stillorgan, County Dublin and formerly of Athy, Co. Kildare) Passed away peacefully on 22nd March 2026, surrounded by his loving family and in the devoted care of the team on Cara Ward, St. Vincent’s Private Hospital.

Beloved husband of Joan, and adored father of Rob, Darrach and Siléan. Proud and loving Daideo of Jack, Kiera, Cillian, Daniel and Molly. Deeply missed by his heartbroken family, his children’s spouses Lucy, Katie and Jeff, his sisters-in-law Ettie, Ann and Ann, nephews, nieces, extended family and many dear friends. Dan will repose on Wednesday 25th March from 5pm - 7pm at Massey Bros. Funeral Home, Goatstown, D14 X348. Funeral Mass will take place on Thursday 26th March at 10am in the Church of St. Laurence O'Toole, Kilmacud, A94 CY83. Burial thereafter in Glencullen Cemetery. Family Flowers only. BURKE-KENNEDY - Ben, (Dublin, London and Lincolnshire) March 20, 2026. Unexpectedly at Lincoln County Hospital, Lincolnshire. Stage name Ben Keaton. Olivier Award / Perrier Comedy Award winning actor, performer, writer, director and teacher. Son of the late Bernard and Esther Burke-Kennedy, Ben will be forever greatly missed, loved and fondly remembered by his ex-wife Polly, son Waldo and daughter Daisy, brothers Des and Thom, sister Jeanette. Best known for his roles in TV shows including Father Ted, Emmerdale, Casualty, The Bill, films including East is East etc. and Theatre performances in Animal Crackers, Harvey, Cyrano de Bergerac, Hay Fever, etc., a founder member of the improv group South Of The River, and a director of the Creative Academy, and more. Funeral arrangements to be announced later.

KANE - Margaret, LDS LRCP&SI of Church Street, Wicklow Town who passed away peacefully on March 17, 2026, surrounded by her family in St Vincent's University Hospital. Beloved wife of Sten Mathews and mother to Conor, Ian, Stephanie, Fergus and Wuzzi (Orlaith). Deeply regretted by her sister Gerry, her sister-in-law Eugenie, brother-in-law Frank, daughters-in-law Carole and Tanya, son-in-law John, her nine grandchildren and extended family and friends. Predeceased by her daughter Martine and her adored parents Eddie and Agnes. May she rest in peace. Margaret will repose at Flannery's Funeral Home, Bachelors Walk, Wicklow Town tomorrow Tuesday, March 24 from 4pm until 6pm. Removal from the family home at Church Street on Wednesday morning March 25 at 9.40am walking via Healy's Hill and Main Street to St Patrick's Church arriving for funeral Mass at 10am after which Margaret will be laid to rest in Rathnew Cemetery. MURPHY - Christopher John Desmond (late of Carraigin Castle, Headford, Co. Galway and Leinster Road, Rathmines, Dublin and formerly of Milford, Co. Mayo and Fulham, London), on March 15, 2026, in his 101st year. Sadly missed by his beloved wife Annemarie, children Fiona, Anthony, Robert, Oona, Isabella and Christoph, eleven grandchildren, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, eleven great-grandchildren as well as nephews, nieces, relatives, many friends and neighbours. Prayers at Saint Mary’s Church of Ireland, Cong, Co. Mayo on Easter Sunday, April 5 at 6pm, followed by funeral service on Easter Monday at 12pm. A celebration of his life will be held at Carraigin Castle at a later date.

RATTIGAN - Patrick Michael, Malahide, Hong Kong (retired Judge), passed October 12, 2025. Predeceased by his wife Marie (née Fox) and son, Paul. Sadly missed by their loving family, daughter Mairead and son Patrick. A Memorial Mass will take place for them, in St. Patrick's Church, Garrafrauns, Co. Galway H54 WK83 at 10:30am, March 28, 2026, with Interment of their Ashes afterwards at Addergole Cemetery.

KEELAN - Dorothy (née Cronin, Cowper Road, D6) - Died March 21, 2025. Fondly remembered by her sons Ted, Hugh and Paul and wider family. We would like to express our gratitude to all who attended her removal and funeral service, sent Mass cards and letters and posted tributes on RIP.ie. Remembering our father Pat also at this time. A special thank you to the staff at Mount Tabor NH, Sandymount for their exceptional care and kindness during the last three years of both their lives. Mom will be remembered at 12 noon Mass in Star of the Sea Church, Sandymount, tomorrow.

WALSH - Gabriel (Gay) (Foxrock and Tuam) - March 20, 2021. On this, Gay’s Fifth Anniversary, we remember with affection our lovely Dad. His love, kindness, gentle manner and sense of humour live forever in our hearts. We remember too our dear Mum Maura (née McCabe) who passed away just months after Dad. Brídín, Ronan and Frances.
