O'CALLAGHAN - Ned (Eddie), The Orchard, Ferrybank, Waterford and late of Pruntus, Ballyhea, Co. Cork, who died on Saturday, May 16, 2026, aged 90 Years. Peacefully in the tender care of his loving family and all the staff at Mooncoin Residential Care Centre. Predeceased by his son Ger, parents Charles and Kathleen, brothers Charles, Michael, Liam and Jerry. Ned will be sadly missed by his loving wife Phil (née O'Neill), son Fran, daughters Orla and Carmel, daughter-in-law Margo, son-in-law Nigel, grandson Charlie, sisters-in-law Susan and Joan, nieces nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends. Ned will be reposing in Power's Funeral Home, Ferrybank on today (Monday), from 5.30pm until 7pm. Neds removal will take place on tomorrow (Tuesday) to The Sacred Heart Church, Ferrybank, arriving for Requiem Mass at 12 noon, after which Ned will be laid to rest in the adjoining cemetery.
