She will be deeply missed by her heartbroken mother Laurie, brothers Conor, Brian and Turlough, by Conor’s wife Emer, Turlough’s wife Tuk, nieces and nephews Luke, Olivia, Eva and Tod, aunts, uncles and by her relatives, colleagues in the Law Library, great neighbours and many friends. Forever loved and always remembered

BYRNE - Hannah (Donnybrook, Dublin and Coolnevaun, Co. Wicklow) May 23, 2026. Peacefully, in the wonderful care of St Vincent’s University Hospital and Carmona Services. Beloved daughter of the late Gabriel and Ellen (née Kaye). Very sadly missed by her loving family, siblings Aisling, Deirdre, Gabriel Jr., Beibhinn, Mema, Felicity, and Raphael, step-mother Beatriz, her many nieces and nephews, extended family, and many friends, especially those in Coolnevaun and Carmona services. Pre-deceased by her brother Xavier. May she rest in peace. Removal on Thursday morning (May 28) to the Church of the Sacred Heart, Donnybrook arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am followed by burial in Shanganagh Cemetery. Family flowers only please. MACKEY - Geraldine (Gerry) (née Mullen) (Dublin) – May 24, 2026, peacefully in the care of Belmont Nursing Home, Galloping Green. Deeply loved and greatly missed already by her husband John, daughters Suzanne and Aisling, sisters Barbara and Clare, grandchildren Finn, Cara, Luke and Tess, all her beloved wider family and wonderful circle of friends. Pre-deceased by her father Fred Mullen, mother Maisie, brother Essie and sister Maureen. Reposing at Colliers Funeral Home, Old Connaught Avenue, Bray today, Wednesday (May 27) from 4.00pm to 6.00pm. A Funeral Service will take place in St. Anne’s Church, Shankill tomorrow, Thursday (May 28) at 12 noon, followed by burial in Shanganagh Cemetery.

Mum, Gerry, you will leave a huge gaping hole at the centre of our family. You were, and always will be, Simply The Best.

Jim (Jimmy), Clonskeagh, Dublin 23rd May 2026 (peacefully) in the wonderful care of all the staff at St. Vincents Private Hospital. Beloved husband of Pauline (née Carolan) and much loved father of Kevin, Orna and Fionan. He will be greatly missed by his family, his brother Kevin, daughters-in-law Sarah-Jane and Tara, son-in-law Michael, his cherished grandchildren James, Evan, Will, Jack, Thea, Aoibhínn and Luca, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends from Synge Street Football Club, St Mary's Tennis Club, Grange Golf Club and Tara Glen.

Reposing on Thursday evening (28th May) from 4.00 pm until 6.00 pm in Fanagans Funeral Home, Main Street, Dundrum. Removal to the Church of St Thrérèse, Mount Merrion on Friday morning (29th May) for Funeral Mass at 10.00 am followed by burial in Kilternan Cemetery Park. Family flowers only please, donations if desired to Irish Cancer Society.

DEIGNAN - Rita, late of Blainroe, Wicklow, who died on 27th May, 2025. On the occasion of Rita's first anniversary, Paul, Paula, Mark, Clare, Michelle and Stephen, wish to express their sincere gratitude for all the kindness and support received from family and friends over the past year. We thank everyone for attending the Funeral home, Mass and Burial. We are also deeply grateful for all the lovely messages, cards and letters received which were a source of great comfort to us all. Thanks also to Fr. Aquinas Duffy, St. Patrick's Church choir and Mc Creas Funeral Home for making both the Funeral Mass and Burial both sensitive occasions. Grateful thanks to the Doctors and Nurses in Blackrock Hospital who looked after Rita in her final weeks. Not forgetting the Angels they call Nurses in Wicklow Hospice who enabled her to stay at home with us until her gentle passing a year ago today.

Loved, remembered and greatly missed by all of us, particularly today.

ROCHE - Michael Sylvester, Late of Terenure. Passed peacefully at home on 22nd May 2026.

Michael will be very sadly missed and forever remembered by his loving sister Mary, his nephews and niece, Jorge, Miguel and Maria, extended family, friends and his wonderful carers. Reposing in Massey Bros. Funeral Home, Templeogue Village, D6W AC82 this Friday 29th May from 11am to 1pm for family and close friends. A service to celebrate Michael's life will take place later that day at 4pm in the Victorian Chapel, Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold's Cross, D6W HY98.
