Vicki was beloved by the hundreds of children she cared for, both because of how she helped them work through the daily tasks of life and also for her unceasing encouragement and cheer. She maintained strong connections to family in Denmark and the United States, regularly visiting both and maintaining continued contact via Zoom sessions during the COVID-19 pandemic. She has been blessed to reside at the Royal Hospital Donnybrook for the last five years, and survived COVID earlier this year. Vicki has been an enduring source of love, acceptance and encouragement to everyone who knew her and will be sorely missed by her family and many friends in Ireland and abroad. She is survived by a sister, Alexandra, of New York; a nephew Adam Isles, his wife Hannah, and their children Nina and Peter, of Washington DC; and cousins Henrik and Pauline Moltke, Casper and Monica Moltke, Christine and Michael Mates and their children.
