GORMAN, James (late of Griffith Avenue, Dublin and formerly of The Ward, Co. Meath) – August 3, 2021 (peacefully) surrounded by his family and under the wonderful care of the staff at St. Francis Hospice, Raheny. Cherished husband of the late Marie (née Carton) and dear father of Gerard, David, Derek, Yvonne and the late Robert; lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his family, daughters-in-law Sanchita, Donna and Nina, his adored grandchildren Anna Rose and Noah, brothers Matt and Sean, sisters Elsie, Jenny and Eilish, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, kind neighbours and his many friends. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílis. A private family funeral will take place, due to Government advice regarding public gatherings. Those who would have liked to attend the funeral, but owing to current restrictions, cannot, may send a personal message to Kirwans Funeral Directors, 21/23 Fairview Strand, Dublin 3, or to info@kirwans.ie. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to St. Francis Hospice.

Sincerest sympathies on your loss. Jim was a gentleman and a true friend to dad, especially in dad’s final days, visiting him and keeping him company. He will be remembered for that. RIP Tara Niland (Eddie Niland’s daughter)
