RUDDOCK (John A.) - May 17, 2013, after a short illness. Beloved husband of the late Doreen, and father of the late Alan. Deeply regretted by his daughter Gillian (McCutcheon), son-in-law Hugh, daughter-in-law Jackie and his much loved grandchildren Rosalind (and her husband Christopher), Michael, Alexander, Matthew, Juliet, Daniel, Cameron, Lucy and his extended family. John was loved and admired by all who knew him and he touched so many lives through his time in Villiers School and his absolute passion for music. Funeral service at St. Patrick's Church, Harbour Road, Dalkey on Tuesday, May 21 at 10.30am, followed by cremation at Mount Jerome. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu to a charity of your choice.I heard the voice of Jesus say"come onto me and rest."

So few lead such a fulfilled life, so few will be missed as will he.

A great life, a wonderful man, such fun, always in such good humour, but for him and Doreen, Ireland would not have had the abundance of riches that they gave in music, in education and in friendship. One of the great Irishmen, ní beidh a leithéid arís ann.

Peter
