Sorry about Iona

Dear family of Iona, dear Albert,

The sad news of Iona's death did really shock me. I have known here from quite some time, first when we met in Ispra, later in connection to our work for EFSA. We always had good fun and had an excellent working relationship, but what is more important, we became good friends over the years, and I have known her as a very aimable person. It was really a sad day when she deceased. I hope and wish that you willfind the strength to go on.

Wim Mennes

So sorry to hear

I was so sorry, Albert, to hear from Tony Almeida, that Iona had died. I was suddenly transported back to those days in chemistry and with you and Don in Europe. I am thinking of you.

Alan
