WHELAN, Dr. Diarmuid

WHELAN Dr. Diarmuid, (Gardiners Hill, Cork) - June 1, 2010, with grace and dignity, after a short but courageous battle with cancer, true love and husband of Alex, doting father of Gabriel, treasured son of Kay and the late Patrick Whelan. Diarm, will be dearly missed by his brothers and sisters Billy, Tina, Labhrás, Pádraig and Elaine; he will be mourned and celebrated by his in-laws, extended family, dear friends and colleagues. Visitation at Marymount Hospice, Wellington Road, this (Wednesday) evening at 7.30 pm. Services tomorrow (Thursday) at 1 pm. at the Island Crematorium, Ringaskiddy. If desired, donations in lieu of flowers, to Marymount Hospice, the staff of which we thank sincerely. There was never a more loved person. We will will miss you Diarm.
