Our beloved and beautiful friend

Áine was a warm and true friend, a quietly courageous upholder of patient rights, a woman of wisdom — a wisdom informed by the heart — and a steadfast colleague.

Áine, your loss is an incalculable one, but you will be remembered by thousands of people with enduring love. You healed so many, you brought joy to those who were sad, you brought light where there had been shadow and dark.

Our love and deep sympathy to Dot, Paula, Aidan and Derry.

Basil Miller and Ann-Marie Larkin

From Marian Malone

Fond memories of Aine from UCD especially of studying together for Pharmacology exam in the summer of 1975,sharing Mr Tuck (eccentric driving instructor who got us through our driving tests)and of Aine bringing Derry to visit my mother when he was about 18 months. Please accept my deepest sympathy. My mother also sends condolences. Marian
