Condolences

To the family of Seamus Conroy,

I am so sorry for your terribly sad loss. I only recently came to enjoy Seamus' music, and he was talented in a way that so few can ever claim. His music really reached down and touched the heart.

Please take comfort from a scripture that speaks of the resurrection hope at John 5:28,29.

Take care,

Christina

Rest in peace, dear Séamus

I was so desperately sad to learn that Séamus had passed away, Séamus of all people, so dynamic growing up, so funny, so utterly brilliant. His extraordinary talent knew no bounds. I have very distinct memories of him playing the Lalo Symphonie espagnole, and the Brahms’ Violin Concerto. He brought out the beauty of anything he played and made it all seem so incredibly easy. He was an inspiration to all who knew him. I heard him a few years ago in Bunratty and he was as magical as ever to listen to. Séamus brought light into people’s lives when he played. He touched people in innumerable ways, with his music, his sensitivity, his smile. He was utterly unforgettable. May his family gain some solace in that knowledge in these dark and sad days. Séamus, you will live on forever in our hearts. Deirdre Murphy

REST IN PEACE SEAMUS

The likes of your talent will never again be heard in Bunratty Castle. We listen to your CD which you very kindly gave us. It was so moving to listen to you performing a Tchaikovsky violin concerto at the Church and the standing ovation and tears are testament to your amazing talent and the person you were. A gentleman and a genius. You will not be forgotten. Thanks for the music. Carmel Lonergan x

Rest In Peace Seamus
To all the Conroy Family, I'm deeply saddened to learn of the recent tragic news. I worked with Séamus for many years as a butler in Bunratty castle & shared many highs & lows with him over that time. A talented & reserved man, we always made time for each other & I always had a huge respect for him. Unfortunately due to work commitments, I could not attend the funeral, but my thoughts & prayers were and are with you all as you come to terms with your loss & grief. I recently met him last year at the 50th anniversary banquet & he gave me a copy of his new cd. Know that he lives on forever through his music & melody. May he rest in peace Deric Hartigan TV3 Weather Presenter

RIP Seamus.
So very sad to hear that Seamus has passed away. Seamus, the very best violinist in Ireland as we found out every year at Feis Ceoil! A true musician of the finest quality and a great character, a great friend for many years during the junior and senior youth orchestra courses. RIP Seamus and thank you for the wonderful violin playing. Jayne Donnelly.
