Sadly Missed.

I had the good fortune to be a friend of Michael's and to have worked with him on occasion. His passing leaves a void that I doubt will ever be filled. Such generosity, care and love is absolute beauty. Rest well Michael my dear friend. I miss you.

Paddy.

Fearless Warrior

I have only met Michael Corry three times in my life. The first time was to hear him speak at a conference about eating disorders, and what breath of fresh air! On the two other occasions I was with my daughter, hoping he would be able to work with her to find a way out of the mental distress and pain she was in.The third timeI met him he told me my daughter would never return to the hospital and she never has.

It is my believe that she is alive today due to his intervention in her life.Through speaking to him, reading his books and seeing how he worked with my daughter I sensed the loving warrior spirit of this man. Fearless in speaking the truth, unafraid of what 'society' and the 'so called' leaders in the mental health services had to say and always holding onto his own integrity. That is the picture I carry of Dr Michael Corry.

As a parent of someone caught in the madness of the mental health service in this country, I was blessed and my daughter was blessed to meet him. I wish to thank him sincerely, for being a part of our lives and we are privileged to have met him, A grateful parent

A good man

I met Michael years ago when stressed out over college, a relationship and other factors. He thought outside the box, challenged presumptions, and was very helpful at that time. Very sorry to hear of his passing.
