Greenjewel

Debbie was known to many people as Greenjewel. We are all members of the BBC message board for fans of The Archers, the world's longest running radio soap and Debbie had been a member herself for many years.

Greenjewel, or GJ, as she was known for short, was one of the most popular members of this MB. Always kind and funny, with time for everyone and lots of good advice, especially about cats and gardening! It was a huge shock to us all to learn that she had passed away and I would like to send her family and friends in Ireland my very sincere sympathies on the loss of a lovely, warm hearted woman. She will be so much missed by us all.

Savannahlady

Shocked, but lovely memories of Debbie

We were shocked to hear of Debbie's unexpected passing and send our thoughts and prayers to Simon, and her family. Having sung with Debbie in several different choirs, we fondly remember her great sense of fun and zest for life, as well as her multitude of talents,

Such a loss

I was so shocked and saddened to hear of Debbie's sudden death. Her online presence, though vivid and ever generous, was a dim shadow of the woman I was fortunate enough to meet.

I would like to offer sympathy to her family and friends.

Her spirit lives on.
