Remembering a friend

I had the pleasure of visiting with Laurence four years ago. I have lived in the US for the past eighteen years, and that was my first trip back to Ireland with my family. Laurence and I knew each other practically all our lives. Our parents were good friends, and we both had businesses in Middle Abbey Street, so we saw each other often. I will remember him with great affection. I will remember him for his entrepeneurial spirit and innovative business ideas, but above all I will remember him for being a gentleman, and someone who was always a joy to be around.

David Figgins

A great loss

Laurence was a lovely caring man who helped many women overcome the grief of hair loss, giving them his undivided, unhurried attention. My sympathies go to his family at this sad time.
