Pre-deceased by her parents Patrick and Anastasia, her sister Neans, her brother-in-law Pat and her niece Eilís. Deeply regretted by her Community in Lakelands, the Sisters of the Congregation, nieces Máire and Áine, nephew-in-law, grandnephews, extended family and many friends. Reposing on Wednesday (September 2) from 2.30pm, with prayers at 3.30pm, in Corrigan & Sons Funeral Home, 5 Lower Camden Street, D02 DF22. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday (September 3) at 11.30am in St. Mary’s Star of the Sea Parish Church, Sandymount, followed by burial in the community cemetery Donnybrook, D04 P7D0.

HENEBERY - Patrick Joseph, (P.J.) (Rathmines, Dublin and native Cork) Passed peacefully on the 29th of August, 2026, aged 61, surrounded by his loving family. He lived his life full of love and joy. Orlaith's one true love. Sam and Luke’s adoring and proud dad. Dearly loved by his parents Richard and Mary Rose, sisters Maureen and Annette, sisters and brothers-in-law and by so many friends and relations from Dublin, Cork, Mitchelstown and London. Reposing at Fanagans Funeral Home 92 Lower Kimmage Road (D6W N279) today (Tuesday) from 4pm to 7pm. Removal on Wednesday morning (Sept 2nd) to the Church of Mary Immaculate, Refuge of Sinners, Rathmines (D06 Y9C9) for Funeral Mass at 10 am followed by burial in Mount Jerome Cemetery. House Private. LEAHY - Joseph Ailbe (Clonskeagh, Dublin) August 29, 2026 peacefully, in St. Vincent's Hospital, surrounded by family, friends and neighbours. Pre-deceased by his sister Mariel and brother-in-law Donal. Joe will be sadly missed by his adoring wife Lucia, daughters Nicki, Ali and Sinéad, siblings Christine and Austin, sons-in-law David and Paul, grandchildren Annabelle and Dylan, Leahy and Murphy families, friends and neighbours. May he Rest in Peace. Reposing at his home today (Tuesday) from 4pm until 7pm. Removal tomorrow (Wednesday) morning to the Church of the Sacred Heart Donnybrook for Funeral Mass at 11am followed by cremation at the Garden Chapel Mount Jerome. SMITH - (née McConnell) – Winifred Audrey (Sandymount, Dublin 4), 29th August, 2026, peacefully, in her 95th year, surrounded by love, after a long life well lived, beloved wife of the late Roy, much loved and devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her children and their families – Philip, Shirley, James, Matthew, Jessica and Caroline (Sandymount); Peter, Deirdre, Stephen, David and Andrew (Killiney); Olwen & Brian (Galway); Nigel (also Sandymount) and an enduring circle of extended family & friends. Winifred was blessed with great love, care and support from her close family and from Amanda, Marie, Sharon and team at Margaretholme, Sandymount. In line with her wishes, a Private Family Cremation Service has taken place. Donations if desired to Christ Church Sandymount.
