SMITH, Winifred Audrey

SMITH - (née McConnell) – Winifred Audrey (Sandymount, Dublin 4), 29th August, 2026, peacefully, in her 95th year, surrounded by love, after a long life well lived, beloved wife of the late Roy, much loved and devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her children and their families – Philip, Shirley, James, Matthew, Jessica and Caroline (Sandymount); Peter, Deirdre, Stephen, David and Andrew (Killiney); Olwen & Brian (Galway); Nigel (also Sandymount) and an enduring circle of extended family & friends. Winifred was blessed with great love, care and support from her close family and from Amanda, Marie, Sharon and team at Margaretholme, Sandymount. In line with her wishes, a Private Family Cremation Service has taken place. Donations if desired to Christ Church Sandymount.
