BROPHY - Edward (Teddy), Leinster Lodge, Newlands, Naas, Co. Kildare.

On Teddy’s birthday, Imelda and family, Victor, Paul, Ian, Eric, Vivienne and Alan together with Catherina, Catherine, Deirdre, Peter, Victoria and grandchildren would like to especially remember him on this day.

We would sincerely like to thank everyone who sent cards, letters, flowers, messages of sympathy, attended his funeral or watched it online.

Your help, love and support to Imelda and the family during his long illness and since his death (RIP) are a constant source of comfort to us all during this difficult time.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope that you will accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere gratitude and appreciation. The Holy sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for all your intentions.

Teddy’s death has left a huge gap in our lives but we are consoled by the fact that he lived a long and happy life and today we celebrate his 98th birthday.

JENNINGS, (née Kilbride) Louise – (Foxrock, Dublin) (peacefully) at The Four Ferns Nursing Home, Foxrock and under the care of the Blackrock Hospice. Predeceased by her beloved husband George and her siblings Brian, Fintan, Nuala, Dympna, Aidan and Malachy and her nephew Barney. Will be sadly missed by her brother Kevin, nieces Anne Marie, Emer, Eavan, Ciara and Siobhan, nephews Kevin, Brian, Ronan, Malachy and Aidan. Also grieved by her sisters-in-law Caniece, Mary and Ita, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, relatives and friends. May she Rest in peace. WALSH - Tom (SAP Nurseries, Garnavilla, Cahir, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Ballymacarbry, Co. Waterford). May 8, 2023 peacefully at his home with his family by his side. Very sadly missed by his loving wife Valerie, daughter Jill, sons David, Thomas and John, grandchildren Daniel, Luke, Matthew and Olivia, brothers Jimmy and Pat, sisters Breda, Carmel and Joan (predeceased by his brother Bill), daughters-in-law Grace and Liz, son-in-law Tom, nephews, nieces, extended family and many friends. Devoted wife of the late Joe. Adored mum of Ann-Marie Martin and Philip. Cherished nana to Amelia, Joe, Juliet, Olivia, Robyn, Lochlan, Matthew and Fia. YOUNG, Col. Joe (Retd., Irish Defence Forces), (Barna, Galway and formerly Donnycarney, Dublin.) May 6, 2023. (In his 90th year). Peacefully at home with his dearly loved wife Barbara (née Mullan) and daughters, Aisling, Karen, Shirine and Orla by his side. Predeceased by his much loved siblings Essie, Phyllis, Séamus, Pat, Tony, Davrul and Eamon. Deeply mourned by his wife, daughters, brothers, sons-in-law and adored grandchildren; Aisling’s husband David and children Joe and Orla, Karen’s husband Pat and children Mark and Christina, Shirine’s husband Justin and children Zoe, Jordan and Sam, Orla’s husband Brian and children Saoirse and Óisín, Brian’s children Aoibhinn and Brian, brothers Liam and Seán, brothers-in-law in particular Seán Williams and sisters-in-law, relatives and friends. DELANEY, Sr. Elizabeth (Navan Road, Dublin and formerly of St. Mary’s, Cabra, Muckross Park, Lisbon, and Ballyfermot) - 6th May 2023, in the loving care of her Dominican sisters and the staff of Santa Sabina House. Much loved and deeply regretted by her sister Bridie Hourigan, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, great-grandnieces, great-grandnephews, her cousins, close friends, and her Dominican Sisters, daughter of the late Michael and Mary Delaney, Upper Forest, Mountmellick, Co. Laois, she was predeceased by her brothers Martin and Pat, her sisters Kathleen, Peig Ryan, Sara O’Loughlin and Maureen Rochford. Rest in Peace. Sr. Elizabeth donated her body to medical science. SULLIVAN, Rhona (nee Thornton) (Rathfarnham, Dublin) - May 4th, 2023, Peacefully in the care of the Fitzgerald Ward Blackrock Clinic. Predeceased by her beloved husband Wesley. Loving Mum of Barbara, Alan and Heather. Very fondly remembered by her daughter-in-law Su, son-in-law Robert and much loved grandchildren Andrew, Joanne, David, Jessica and Nicola, relatives, friends and neighbours. A celebration of Rhona's life will take place Wednesday May 10th at 1.00pm in Rathfarnham Parish Church of Ireland and then to The Victorian Chapel Mount Jerome Crematorium at 3.15pm.
