SMYTH, (née Fleming) (Blackrock, Co. Dublin) – July 22nd 2022 (peacefully) in the loving care of the staff at Carysfort Nursing Home, Glenageary. Leigh; dearly beloved wife of the late Greg Smyth (Blackrock), much loved sister of Andrea, Andrew and Michael. She will be very sadly missed by her loving sister, brothers, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. May she rest in peace. Reposing at Patrick O’Donovan and Son Funeral Home, Sallynoggin A96 PW73 on Thursday (July 28th) from 4o’c to 6o’c. Removal on Friday (July 29th) to St. Joseph’s Church, Glasthule arriving for 10o’c Requiem Mass. Funeral immediately afterwards to Shanganagh Cemetery, Shankill. HERNON, Mary (née McDonald) of Friars Hill, Wicklow Town and formerly of Rosanna, Rathnew, Co Wicklow died peacefully at home in the presence of her family on Friday 22nd July 2022 in her 93rd year. Predeceased by her beloved husband Desmond and family friend Molly Horan. Much loved and devoted mother of Joseph, Michael, Kathryn and John. Deeply regretted by her siblings, Helen, Joe and Cora, daughters in law Mary and Sally, son in law Hugh, grandchildren, great grandchildren, extended family, carers and friends. May she rest n peace. Funeral arriving to St Patrick’s Church, Wicklow Town tomorrow Tuesday morning for 10am funeral Mass followed by burial in Redford Cemetery Greystones. House private please. Family flowers only. Peacefully at home. Dearly beloved husband of Dr. Geraldine, much loved father of Edward and Leonora, and treasured and admired grandad of Jack, James, Eddie, Jared and Tony. Pre-deceased by his parents and brothers John and Charlie and his sister Sighle. Deeply mourned by his wife, son and daughter, son-in-law Jamie, daughter-in-law Rosaleen, grandchildren, sisters-in-law Helen, Carmel, and Dr. Elaine , extended family and friends. Requiem Mass on Saturday, July 24, 2021 at 11 a.m. at the Jesuit Church, Sea Road, Galway, Funeral after Mass to the new cemetery, Bohermore. House private. No flowers please. Mass will be celebrated in accordance with current Government guidelines on funerals and public gatherings.
