RUSSELL - Fr John S.J. (Hong Kong) -  September 22, 2023.  Peacefully, in his 98th year and after 80 years of ministry. Sadly missed by his brother Matthew and the wider family, his Jesuit confreres and his many good friends in Hong Kong and Ireland. Funeral Mass today (Saturday, October 7),  in the St Ignatius Chapel, Wah Yan College, Kowloon, Hong Kong, followed by burial among the people he served.

GAYNOR - Mary E. (May), (Sixteenth Anniversary, October 1, 2007) - In cherished and loving memory of our dear 'Aunt May', remembered with love and gratitude. Remembering fondly at this time our late parents and brother and all our deceased relatives from the Kerr, Meadwell and Condon families. - Peter and John.

CARROLL - James (Wicklow and Dublin, died October 7, 2022) On the first anniversary of his death, Jim's wife Miriam, children Edward, Andrew, Susan, Alison, James, David, Amanda and their partners, many grandchildren, sister Anne and brother Noel would like to express our sincere gratitude to all who supported us throughout this time. Thank you to those who came to his repose, attended his funeral in person and online, and for the phone calls, letters, cards, flowers, the stories shared, the food left to the house. There are too many to list individually but know that it brought us great comfort and will be forever appreciated. Our special thanks also to the superb team at St Vincent's Hospital for the exemplary care Jim received throughout his illness and in particular in his final weeks.

HAINBACH - Kenny, on the Second Anniversary of Dad’s death we continue to cherish all our wonderful memories of our darling Dad and of our beautiful Mum. Both our parents are forever in our hearts.

GALLOWAY - James Kenneth - August 5, 2023 and his wife Pamela Margaret, July 19, 2023 (Killester). We, their relatives and extended family in the UK, wish to express our deep appreciation and thanks to their friends and neighbours who visited them, sent cards, letters and messages and in other ways supported them during their illnesses. Our sincere thanks to the Rev. Kevin Ronné, the staff in Beaumont Hospital, the H.S.E. carers and especially to the staff in St. Francis Hospice, Raheny for their care and kindness in their final days.

HUDSON, Tom (Killiney) - October 1st 2023, peacefully, at home. Beloved husband of Jennifer and loving father and grandfather; fondly remembered by his family, grandchildren, his nieces, nephews, the extended family and friends. Recently pre-deceased by his sister Ann. Tom’s funeral will take place on Monday (October 9) at 11 am in The National Maritime Museum of Ireland, Haigh Terrace, Dun Laoghaire, A96 C8X7.
