On the first anniversary of Clare’s/ Mum’s/ Gran Gran’s death, the O’Connor family wish to express their sincerest appreciation for the sympathy, support and kindness extended by all. NELSON - James (Jim) Sandymount & Crumlin, Dublin - James passed away suddenly on December, 8 2023 at home. Beloved father of Daire, Caoimhe, James and husband of Elaine. James will be deeply missed by his wife, daughter and sons and Amy, Daire's partner, and his adored grandchild Freya. He is survived by his sisters Joan and Pat and his brother Bill, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, aunts, nieces, nephews, relatives and a wide circle of friends. Reposing at Massey Bros. Funeral Home, 177 Crumlin Road, D12 F864 on tomorrow (Wednesday) between 4pm and 6pm. Funeral service will take place on Thursday at 2.30pm in the Victorian Chapel, Mount Jerome, followed by Cremation. Dublin) – December 10, 2023, peacefully, at Glebe House Nursing Home, Kilternan, beloved wife of the late Andrew and much loved mother of Ian and Craig, cherished grandmother of Amy, Ross, Guy, Warren, Carrie, Lucy, Alastair and Lara, dearly loved by her daughters-in-law Orla and Linda, fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. McCARTHY, Patrick (Pat, Podge, Paddy) (late of Enniskerry, Griffith Avenue and Rosslare, formerly Customs & Excise, St. Vincent’s and Dublin GAA) – December 10, 2023, very peacefully at home, in the loving arms of his family. Paddy, dearly loved husband of the late May (née Cahillane) and brother of the late Eddie and Veronica. Very special “Dad” to Arlene, father-in-law to Dan and the best Pappy in the world to Evan, Christopher and Daniel. Sadly missed by his nieces, sisters-in-law and his wide circle of many loyal friends and neighbours. CLARKE, Dr. Edward (Eamon) (Foxrock, Dublin 18) - December 9th 2023. Peacefully, with his devoted family by his side. Dearly beloved husband of Nuala and loving father of Mary, Gerard and Jennifer. MILLAR - Dr. Sydney, Légion d’Honneur, CBE, MBE, December 10, 2023, peacefully at his home, 2A Fairways, Broughshane. Beloved husband of the late Enid, loving father of Peter, Jonathan and Lesley, dear father-in-law of Jill, Sarah and Bryan, devoted grandfather of Oliver, Patrick, Kathryn, Ellie, Kane, Aimee, Will, Hannah, great grandfather of Penney and loving brother of Jimmy, Audrey, Reba and the late Trevor and Bee. After a private interment, a Service of Thanksgiving for Sydney’s life will be held in West Presbyterian Church on Thursday, December 14, at 12 noon. House strictly private. CURRAN - Kay, Coleville Avenue, Clonmel, Co. Tipperary, December 8, 2023 passed away peacefully at home with her loving family. Beloved wife of the late Liam Curran, greatly loved by her children Rachel, Suzanne, Paul, Judith and Kate and god-daughter Susan. She will be deeply missed by her sister Mildred and brother Michael, her sons-in-law and daughter-in-law, her 15 adored grandchildren, nieces, nephews, lifelong friends and special carer of the last 10 years, Amy.
