O'BRIEN, Noel, (Lyrath, Kilkenny and formerly of Kilree, Bennettsbridge) on January 4, 2024, peacefully at home, surrounded by his family, after a long illness bravely borne. Beloved husband of Edel (née Corcoran) and the late Margaret (née Grace). Much loved father of Susan, Enda, Róisín, Martin and Noelie. Noel will be sadly missed by his wife and family, brothers Philly, Gerry, Patsy, Seanie and Nicky, sister Kathleen (Gaffney), sons-in-law Gary and Jeremy, daughters-in-law Marie and Emma, grandchildren Fynn, Ayda, Jack, Hazel, Evie, Liam, Jude, Hugh and Annabel, mother-in-law Rosie, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, friends and his many business colleagues. Noel is predeceased by his brother Jimmy, sister Joanie and his nephew Conor. Rest in Peace. Reposing in Johnston's Funeral Home, John's Green, Kilkenny (R95XE00) tomorrow Sunday (January 7) from 4pm to 8pm with Rosary and Vigil Prayers at 6pm. Requiem Mass on Monday morning at 10.30am in St. John's Church, Kilkenny. Funeral afterwards to Foulkstown Cemetery. House strictly private please.

KEEGAN - Alice (nee D’Arcy), (Deansgrange, Dublin formerly Thurles) - On the first anniversary of our beloved Alice’s passing, her husband Andy, her children Joe, Greta, Eoghan and Ellen, mother Ivy, sisters and brothers wish to sincerely thank all who sympathised and supported us following her passing. Thanks especially to relatives friends, neighbours and Alice’s former work colleagues and all who attended the funeral home and funeral Mass, sent Mass cards sympathy cards, letters and messages of condolence. We would also like to sincerely thank the ambulance staff and staff at St. Michael’s Hospital, Dun Laoghaire, also the very caring staff of Inis Care, the nurses and staff of Cabinteely Health Centre and to Colin and staff of Masseys' Funeral Home, Blackrock. The death has occurred of Pauline Margaret Kent (Scruggs), Station House, Ballyhooly and Ballyhampshire, Castlelyons. Co. Cork, peacefully in her ninety eighth year on December 19, 2023. Beloved daughter of the late Edmond and Margaret Kent. Dear sister of Dan and tye late Mary, John and Bernadette. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her brother, sister-in-law Eleanor, nieces, nephews and friends.May Pauline Rest In Peace. O'MALLEY - Grainne (Chelsea, London, England) -

Died on  November 15, 2023 aged 85 years, 

daughter of the late Matthew T. and Mary O’Malley of Ballintubber, County Mayo.

She is survived by her nephews and nieces.

On Tuesday January 9, at 4.30 p.m. her remains will be received into Our Lady Of Dolours Servite Church, Chelsea. SW10 9EL.

Requiem Mass on Wednesday January 10 at 11.30am, followed by interment at Gunnersbury Cemetery. W3 8LE.
