DONOVAN - Cecil (January 4, 2022, Blackrock, Co. Dublin) - Remembering a wonderful Dad, grandad, brother, friend and proud chartered accountant with love always, and especially on the First Anniversary of his death. Siobhán, Andrew, Iain, Sinéad and their families wish to thank most sincerely everyone who sympathised with them, sent cards, letters, messages of condolence and came to his funeral. Special thanks to Orwell Private Nursing Home, Rathgar, who cared for Dad so tenderly. Our deep gratitude goes also to Fr Eddie Conway who visited Dad in Orwell and gave him the last rites, and to Fr Peter O’Connor who celebrated his funeral mass. May Dad rest in peace together with our dear Mum (Morag, died April 19, 2018).

KENNY, Jim, (Greystones, Co. Wicklow). January 3, 2023. Its with the heaviest heart that we announce the passing of Jim. Surrounded by his family, he died peacefully after a very short illness in the care of St. Vincent's Private Hospital. Beloved husband to Susan and devoted father to Rachel, David and the late Andrew. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife, children, son-in-law Daniel, daughter-in-law Cara, his grandchildren Olivia and Theo who brought so much laughter to his life, brothers Pat and Frank, sister Mary, Aunt Ann, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, cousins, nieces, nephews, and his large community of great friends. We don't know this world without him; but taking comfort that his son Andrew has welcomed him with the biggest smile and hug. Funeral will take place tomorrow (Friday) at 12.00pm in St. Patrick's Church, Greystones followed by Cremation service in Mount Jerome Crematorium at 2.15pm. In lieu of flowers. All donations to be made to The Irish Cancer Society.
