TURNER - Maureen (Second Anniversary, January 26, 2022) - In loving memory of Maureen, much loved wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Remembering too at this time her beloved husband Seán  (September 4, 2022). Sadly missed.

LALLY, Sr. Alberta, O.P., Dominican Convent, Taylor’s Hill, Galway, on January 25, 2024, in her ninety-ninth year: peacefully, in the tender care of the Dominican Sisters and Staff, Santa Sabina House, Cabra, Dublin. Pre-deceased by her parents, Tomás and Margaret, her siblings Eithne, Attracta, Tomás and Micheál. Sadly missed by her sisters, Francie (Stoke-on-Trent), Peggy (Sr. Frances O.P.), Dominica, her sister-in-law June, her brothers-in-law Roger and Peter, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, extended Lally and Kelly families, her Dominican Sisters, retired colleagues, former students and very many faithful friends. Reposing at Dominican Convent, Taylor’s Hill, Galway, H91 Y1RT on Sunday, January 28, from 4pm – 7pm. DOOLEY, (née Murphy), (late of Newtownmoyaghey, Kilcock, Co. Meath) - January 25, 2024. Peacefully after a short illness in the care of the staff of Woodlands Unit, Connolly Hospital Blanchardstown. Ena predeceased by her beloved husband John, deeply regretted by her loving children Ray, Jacqui and Beatrice, sons-in-law Max and Richard, daughter-in-law Orla, grandchildren Conor, Rían, Aoife and Senan, cousins, neighbours and friends. Reposing at William Ryan & Sons Funeral Home, Church Street, Kilcock, W23XC90 on tomorrow (Sunday) from 3pm-6pm. Funeral Mass on Monday morning at 11am in The Little Chapel, Kilcock. McLOUGHLIN - (née Wade) Angela (Twenty-first anniversary) - Wife of the late Anthony (Bronco), remembered with love by her daughters Frances and Fiona, grandchildren Katie, Max, Clara, Felix and Billy, family and friends.

RUTTLE - Charles Edward (Bangor, Co Down) (January 27, 2023) - On the first anniversary of Charles’ passing, his devoted wife Ruth, his loving son and daughter Karl and Julie, reflect on his full and happy life. A former pupil of Galway Grammar and Villiers Schools, Charles went on to have a long and distinguished career with the Ulster Bank in Tuam, Dublin and Belfast. A loyal and devoted member of the Masonic Order, Charles was always proactive and passionate in fulfilling its charitable causes across Ireland. The family had a long standing and close relationship with the Church of Ireland, most notably St Columbanus, Ballyholme in Bangor. Charles was an active parishioner, choir member and supporter of all the charitable causes within the parish. Upon retirement, Charles filled his days with the Church, the Masonic and many long walks. Charles spent several years meticulously planning a reunion for former pupils of Galway Grammar to celebrate the 50th anniversary of its closing. It was an event that saw pupils return to Ireland from all corners of the world. Charles’ family, Ruth, Karl and Julie, would like to express their sincere appreciation towards the staff in Wards 5a and 6a of the Ulster Hospital for their unmatched care and kindness to Charles in his last months. The family would also like to express their deepest thanks to Canon Simon Doogan in Ballyholme Parish for his unwavering friendship, comfort and care over many years. To the Organist, Ian Bell and members of the Ballyholme Parish Choir, and to the Mother's Union members for the hard work in providing the wonderful reception in the Church Hall after the Funeral Service. Thanks to all Charles’ friends for all their help, care and support, along with the continued support of his Masonic and Probus friends. Thank you to S. Clarke & Son for carrying out the funeral arrangements with care, empathy and dignity. We also express our deepest gratitude to extended family, friends, neighbours and all those who travelled to attend the funeral, those who sent cards, letters of condolence, flowers and phone calls. Trusting this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation and gratitude. Charles will be greatly missed by Ruth, Karl, Julie Ann, Hannah and Hollie. POTTERTON - Edward Newton (Oxfordshire, and formerly of Co. Meath, Ireland) Died peacefully on Monday, January 15, 2024 aged 92, at The Close Care and Nursing Home, Burcot, after a lengthy illness, bravely borne.

Dearly loved and loving husband of Pamela. Much loved father of Sarah, William and Adam, and grandfather to Hayley. Survived by his sister Alice, and brother, Raymond.

Sadly missed by his family and friends in Ireland and England.

The funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 15 at 11.00am in Dorchester Abbey, Dorchester-on-Thames, OX10 7HH, followed by cremation at 1.00pm at South Oxfordshire Crematorium, Garford, OX13 5PA.
