DILLON, Tom (Veterinary Surgeon), August 24, 2017, (Anglesea Road, Ballsbridge, Dublin, formerly Monaleen, Co. Limerick), (peacefully) at St. Vincent's Private. Loving husband of Mona (McGarry). Predeceased by his sister Joan, beloved brother of Paddy, Carmel (O'Neill) and Fr. Michael, adored by his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Dorinda, Gerard, Cora, John and Yvonne, nephews, nieces and all extended Dillon and McGarry Families, very special neighbours, friends and members of Elm Park Club. With special thanks to the exceptional staff of St. Vincent's Private. At Tom's request his body will be donated to UCD Medical Science. Requiem Mass at 10am tomorrow (Saturday), August 26, 2017 at the Church of the Sacred Heart, Donnybrook.

O'MAHONY, James (Jim); (Dundrum, Brinny, Co. Cork and former Secretary of the Department of Agriculture) - August 25, 2015 (peacefully) in his 91st year in the wonderful care of the staff in the Bon Secours Hospital surrounded by his loving children. Predeceased by his wife Patricia. Will be deeply missed by his daughter Mary, sons Brian and Paul, son-in-law Chris, daughter-in-law Clare, grandchildren Matthew, Jonathan, Katherine and Thomas, brothers Oliver and Denis and their families and all his wonderful carers and friends. CARTON (née Conneely) Finglas East, Dublin, and late of St.Monica's Nursing Home, Belvedere Place, August 24, 2014 (peacefully) at the Mater Hospital. Una (in her 83rd year) beloved wife of Tony and loving mother of Patricia, John, Helen and Vincent. Sadly missed by her family, daughters-in-Law Trish and Maeve, sons-in-Law Derek and Atef, her twelve grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, brother Pat and his wife Rita, sister Sheila, sister-in-Law Ethna extended family and friends.
