TOOLAN N.T., Kathleen passed away peacefully at home on Thursday 12th December. Predeceased by her beloved husband, Jack. Cherished mother of Shane, Noel, and Brian, and adored grandmother of Claire, Niamh, Sara, Vanessa, Michael, David, and Phillip. Lovingly remembered by her daughters-in-law, Sharon and Ger, as well as her nieces, nephews, extended family, former students and colleagues, and by her devoted carer, Zeny, Reposing at Conneely's Funeral Home, Flood Street, Galway (H91 A786), on Sunday, 15th December, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Arriving to St. Ignatius' Church (The Jes), Sea Road the following morning, Monday 16th December. Requiem Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., followed by burial in Rahoon Cemetery, where Kathleen will be reunited with her beloved husband, Jack. May Kathleen's gentle soul rest in peace.

O'SHEA, Captain Roger (Ex Aer Lingus and Air Corps), Julianstown, Co. Meath, and formerly of Naas and Co. Dublin. Passed away peacefully at his home on December 10th, 2024, aged 75 years, surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his baby daughter Jennifer, parents Nora and Tadhg, sister Maria, and brothers Michael and John. Beloved husband and best friend to Eithne, loving father to Ruth, Andrew and Mark, and David. Deeply missed by his daughters-in-law Yvonne and Lauren, grandchildren Alex, Macklyn, Finn, and Clara, sisters Thérèse and Noelle, brother Peter, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, extended family, his many friends, and former colleagues. Funeral Service celebrating Roger's life will take place today Saturday, December 14th, at 10am in Dardistown Crematorium, Dublin (K67 HP26). Family flowers only. BANNON, Michael J. (Professor Emeritus, UCD) on December 18, 2019 (late of Clontarf, Dublin 3. and Ballinamore, Co. Leitrim, formerly of Bawnboy, Co. Cavan) in the loving care of the staff of Beneavin Manor Nursing Home. Beloved husband of Pauline and loving father of Michelle, Aidan, Killian, Vivian and Fergal. Sadly missed by his loving family, son-in-law, daughters-in-law and partners Ranjith, Ciara, Roberta and Ciarán, adored grandchildren Enda and Dearbhla, extended family and friends. Rest in Peace. Reposing in the Kirwan Funeral Home, Fairview Strand, today (Friday) with family gathering from 5 o’c until 7 o’c, all are welcome. Removal tomorrow (Saturday) morning to St. Anthony’s Church, Clontarf for Requiem Mass at 11 o'c, followed by Funeral to Glasnevin Cemetery.

Predeceased by her parents, the late Dr James O'Connell Fitzsimons and Sheila Fitzsimons (née McGinn) and her sisters Rosemary, Deirdre and Patricia.
