O'CONNOR - Donal Meadowvale Close, Raheen, Limerick and formerly of Brosna, Co. Kerry. Retired Principal of Cappamore Vocational School and traditional musician.

Died August 16th 2026 peacefully at Milford Care Centre.

Beloved husband of Eileen. Dearly loved father of Siobhán and Billy. Sadly missed by his adored grandson Danny and step-grandson Alejandro, nephews, nieces, extended family and friends, especially his music circle. Deeply regretted by Siobhán’s partner Max and all the wonderful people who cared for Donal in the last few months. Predeceased by his brothers Jerry, Liam and Patrick and his sister Joan.

May he rest in peace.

Reposing at Milford Care Centre (tomorrow) Thursday, 20th August from 5pm to 6.30pm. Funeral arriving at St. Nessan’s Church, Raheen on Friday, 21st August for Requiem Mass at 11am followed by burial in Castlemungret Cemetery.

CHARD - Alan Charles Richard – August 14th 2026, peacefully in hospital. Beloved husband of Anne (née McGarry). Son of the late Dorothy and Norman Chard of Tralee, Co. Kerry, and brother of Ruth Chard of Harare, Zimbabwe. Alan’s Funeral Service will be held at his home, Largy Road, Crumlin, Co. Antrim on Wednesday 19th August at 1.00 p.m. There will be a private family ceremony in the house, before leaving for the burial in Crumlin New Cemetery. Family flowers only please.

DEVINS - Cyril (Foxrock, Dublin and formerly of Rosses Point, Co Sligo) 16th August 2026 at Blackrock Clinic, surrounded by his devoted family. Adored and loving husband of Barbara, the most wonderful Dad and friend to Bobby, Nikki and Lesley-Ann and doting Papa to Joe, Katie and Esmeralda. He will be hugely missed by his family, his sister Anna (predeceased by his brother Seamus), son-in-law David, daughter-in-law Carolina, his nephews, neighbours and large circle of friends.

Removal tomorrow Thursday (20th August) morning to Church of Our Lady of Perpetual Succour, Foxrock arriving for reception into Church at 9.45am followed by Mass at 10.00am.

Funeral afterwards to Mount Jerome Crematorium.

O'NEILL - James Kevin (Jimmy) -(Blackrock, Dublin), late of AIIB & UCD, August 2026. Peacefully, in the tender care of the staff of Foxrock Nursing Home and Blackrock Hospice. Beloved husband of Elizabeth (Liz), much-loved father of Niall, Brian and Paul, and adored grandfather of James, Kate, Emily, Liam, Conor, Ellie, Ryan, Zara and Jack. Sadly missed by his loving family, his daughters-in-law Nuala, Helen and Caitriona, his nieces Heather, Kathy and Amy (USA), and his in-laws especially Maureen and Sr. Colette, and his many friends.
