KENNEDY, Bernard (Castleknock, Dublin 15 and formerly of Moate, Co. Westmeath and ex ESB) August 4th., 2025 (peacefully) after a long illness borne with great stoicism and in the loving care of the staff at Beaumont Hospital. Predeceased by his brothers Joe, Jim, Frank and Oliver. Beloved husband of Sheila and much-loved father of John, Nuala, Bernard and Claire. Bernard will be sadly missed by his loving wife, sons, daughters, sister Mary (Enright), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and neighbours. Requiescat in Pace. Removal on Saturday morning (August 9th) to The Church of Our Lady Mother of the Church, Castleknock, Dublin 15 arriving for Funeral Mass at 11 am followed by burial in Esker Lawn Cemetery. KENNEDY HUMBERT O.P., Sr. Marie (Carmel), on August 2, 2025; late of Dominican Convent, 204 Griffith Avenue, in Santa Sabina Nursing Home. Predeceased by her parents Cuthbert and Pauline, her sisters Céline (Healy) and Pauline (Coughlan), and her brother Gerald. Fondly remembered by her sister-in-law Anne Kennedy, her nieces and nephews, extended family and many friends, and her Dominican Community. McAULIFFE, (née Nyhan) Phil (Late of Goatstown, Dublin 14) 2nd August 2025. Passed peacefully after a short illness surrounded by her family and the staff of St Vincent’s University Hospital. Beloved wife and best friend of Tom (married for 64 years), devoted mother to Brian, Emer, Fionnuala, Aoife and Deirdre, and cherished sister of Mary and the late Teddy and Jimmy. She will be sadly missed by her loving husband, children, daughter-in-law Eileen, sons-in-law Keith, André and Billy, sister-in-law Kathleen, grandchildren Thomas, Alex, Sinead, Henry, Theo, Naoise, Louis, Aaron, Conor, Lorcan, Jules and Emilie, extended family, relatives, neighbours and dear friends. SOROHAN, John (Patrick) late of Greygates, Mount Merrion and formerly Gortletteragh, Co. Leitrim, on August 3, 2025, peacefully and surrounded by his loving family under the exceptional care of the staff at St. Vincent's University Hospital. John, beloved husband of Jennie and loving father to Jean, Fiona, William and Lorraine. KELLY - Laurence, died peacefully on July 23, 2025, aged 92, at home. Beloved husband of the late Linda (nee McNair Scott), father of Rosanna, Rachel and Nicky, grandfather to Edward, Alexander, George, Nadya, Tara, Katherine, Dyala, Charlotte and Arthur, great-grandfather to Esme.
