FARREN, (née Clarke) Patricia (Portstewart, Co. Derry and Drumrath, Stradone, Co. Cavan) - September 23,, 2020, (peacefully), at her home in Portstewart with her devoted husband Sean by her side. Surrounded by her children Orla, Ciara, Niamh, and Ronan, and in spirit by her sons-in-law Alex and Paul, daughter-in-law Sile, and her grandchildren Nora, Anna, Oona, Catrina, and Bobby. Will be deeply missed by wider Farren and Clarke families and all those who knew her and benefited from her wisdom, wit and compassion. Sincere thanks from all the Farren family to the carers, nurses, and doctors who cared for Patricia. Funeral in Star of the Sea, Portstewart tomorrrow (Friday), September 25, at 11am, which can be viewed via portstewartparish.co.uk for those unable to travel or attend in present circumstances. Burial to follow in her native Laragh, Stradone, Co. Cavan where she will rest alongside her parents Patrick and Mary.Be kind to each other.

O CEARBHAILL, Padraig, 23rd September 2023, (late of Carysfort Downs, Co. Dublin) - peacefully surrounded by his loving family in the wonderful care of the staff of Blackrock Hospice; devoted husband and best-friend of Ina and beloved dad of Maura, Deirdre and Kevin. Pre-deceased by his loving sister Máire and brother Colm. Padraig will be forever loved and sadly missed by his heartbroken wife, daughters, son, sons-in-law John and Seán, daughter-in-law Rachel, grandchildren Jack, Lila, Saoirse, Daniel and Dara, brother Breandán, sisters-in-law Helen and Nikki, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and a very large circle of friends. May Padraig rest in peace. Padraig will be reposing at Massey Bros. Funeral Home, 5 Newtownpark, Blackrock, A94 X308, tomorrow, (Tuesday) 26th September from 5pm to 7pm. Funeral Mass on Wednesday morning at 10am in the Church of the Guardian Angels, followed by burial in Deansgrange Cemetery. Family flowers only, please. Donations, if desired, to Blackrock Hospice. BURKE, (née Deasy) Barbara (Killiney, Dublin) – September 23, 2021- (peacefully) in the loving care of the staff at St. Vincent’s University Hospital. Predeceased by her baby Natalie and brother Barry. Beloved wife of Adrian. She will be very sadly missed by her family, sons Alan, David and Nigel, daughter Jennifer, grandchildren Daniel, Oliver, Amelia and Kitty, daughters-in-law, Charlotte and Lucy, Jennifer’s partner Peter, relatives, friends and neighbours. Rest in Peace. Removal to the Church of Sts Alphonsus and Columba, Ballybrack this (Monday) morning for 11,00 o’c Funeral Mass followed by burial in Kilternan Cemetery Park.
