CAREY - Thomas A. (Louis) (Saint Alban’s Park, Dublin and previously of Dillon’s Cross and Monkstown, Cork - P.J Hegarty & Sons) 13th December 2025. Peacefully, aged 93 years at St. Vincent’s University Hospital, Dublin in the presence of his loving family. Beloved husband of the late Lorraine Caravousanos - Carey (nee Day), father of Siobhan, Tadhg, Noreen, Moira, Sean, Tom and stepfather to Claire, Tony and the late Loretta. Also predeceased by Noreen (nee Twomey) the mother of his children. Deeply missed by his daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, surviving siblings, grandchildren, great-grandchildren in Ireland, Australia, Canada, and USA, extended family, and friends. Proud past Captain, President and honorary lifetime member of Monkstown Golf Club, Cork. Funeral Ceremony to celebrate Tom’s life will take place on Thursday (18th December) at 2.30pm in Mount Jerome Crematorium Chapel, followed by cremation and then laid to rest privately in Glasnevin Cemetery, Dublin alongside his beloved wife Lorraine. Family flowers only please.

AUNGIER - Dolores peacefully at home 3rd October 2025. (Cabra and formerly of Defence Forces Headquarters, Phoenix Park and Lloyd, Armstrong & Ramsey). Predeceased by her sisters Eileen, Colette, Marie and brother Desmond. Cherished sister of George and sister-in-law of Eithne, beloved aunt and grand-aunt to her many nieces & nephews. Dolores will be sadly missed by her family, neighbours and friends especially those in the Choir at The Church of the Most Precious Blood in Cabra. Dolores’s Funeral Mass will take place today (Saturday) at 10.15am in The Church of the Most Precious Blood, Cabra West followed by burial at Balgriffin Cemetery.

Predeceased by his beloved wife Noreen (nee Moloney), brothers Monsignor Denis PP and Stephen, sisters Mary (Mast), Brigid (Mac Artain) and Dr Eleanor. Deeply regretted by his loving children Clare (Harrison), Honora, Peter Nicholas, John and Ann (Malpass) and his brother Terence. Adored grandfather of John, Louise, Mary, Elizabeth, Catherine, John, Philip, Peter, Joseph, Nicholas and Hannah. Sadly missed by sister-in-law Nora, sons in law Vincent Harrison and Charles Malpass, daughters in law Catherine Cleary, and Clodagh Hickey-Dwyer, nieces and nephews, extended family and many friends and colleagues.
