GRANTHAM, Peter Mitchel (Shankill, Co. Dublin) – on Christmas Eve, after a short illness, in the exceptional care of the staff at St. Vincent’s University Hospital, Dublin. Dearly loved husband for 54 years of Hilary, loving and proud Dad of Julie, Michelle and Kerry, much loved Grandad of Sophia, Sammy, Luke, Daniel, Tom, Rachel, Max and Lucy and father-in-law of Art, Ed and Aidan. Peter will be greatly missed by his loving family, the Michael and Perry families, friends and his devoted collie Mabel. Funeral Service today (Monday) at 10.00am in Rathgar Methodist Church, Brighton Road, D06 Y497, followed by private cremation. No flowers please. There will be a Retiring Collection in aid of the D.S.P.C.A. “In Heavenly Love Abiding”

BROPHY, Edward, late of Nutley Avenue, Donnybrook, Dublin, died peacefully on December 25th 2020 in the loving care of his family and the staff of St. Vincent’s Hospital, Elm Park. Edward was the loving husband of Mary, beloved father of Ed, Richard, Katherine, David and Sarah, and dear brother of Richard. Edward will also be greatly missed by his daughters-in-law Sarah, Nives and Nuria and sons-in-law Richard and Colin, and his loving grandchildren Eve, Daniel, Jasmina, Bobby, Frank, Theo, Elliot, Laura, Alexander, Carmen and Sebastian. Go Raibh Suaimhneas Síoraí Air. A private family funeral will take place in line with Government advice re-garding public gatherings. CLANCY ("Trawnock", Blackwater Co. Clare and formerly of" Dun- an- Oilean", St Francis Abbey, Limerick. FAS Limerick (retired). James (Jimmy), scion of the Clancy family, members of the ancient guild of Abbey Fishermen. To the inexpressible grief of his family, devoted and loving husband of 42 years to Frances ( nee Hogan), treasured and inspirational Father to Mary, Ruth and John, adoring and very proud Papa to Abby, Holly, Ayesha, Lily and Alexander each of whom worshipped their Papa, much loved Father-in law to Ivan Graydon and Michael Murphy. Deeply mourned by his loving family, sisters Marie O'Flaherty, Delia Cowles (Houston) and Teresa Cierans, sisters-in law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, great- nephews and nieces, many cousins, former colleagues and friends. Reposing at Thompson's Funeral Home, Thomas Street this Monday evening from 4 o'clock to 6 o'clock followed by removal to St. Mary's (R.C.) Church. Requiem Mass tomorrow, Tuesday at 11 o'clock. Interment in the ancestral burial ground of the Clancy Family, St. Mary's (COI) Cathedral. Family flowers only. Donations if desired to Milford Care Centre."Good night sweet prince:
