HEMPENSTALL, (née Branigan) Ann (Raheny) - June 7, 2020, peacefully, in the excellent care of the staff at the Bon Secours Hospital, Glasnevin, beloved wife of the late Shay and much loved mother of William and Miriam; lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her son, daughter, brothers Dominic and Peter, her sister Joan, niece Sophie, extended family, kind neighbours and her many friends. A private family funeral will take place, in line with current Government restrictions. CARROLL, (née Moriarty) Ann (Clontarf) - June 5, 2025. Ann will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her children, Ann-Marie, Darren and Deirdre, and her brothers Michael and Denis, her sisters-in-law, Mary, Anne and Fiona, her nephews and nieces, relatives and friends. Pre-deceased by her husband John (J.J.), her partner Brian, her brothers Jim and Aidan (twin) and her nephew David. Funeral Mass at 10.30am in St. Gabriel’s Church, Clontarf (D03 Y2T2) today, Monday, June 9. In accordance with Ann’s wishes, her body has been donated to medical science at University College Dublin. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to St Francis Hospice or the Mater Hospital Foundation. May she Rest in Peace
