CLANCY, Ian (Blackrock, Co. Dublin) January 12, 2020, peacefully after a hard fought battle in the excellent care of the staff at St. Teresa’s Ward, Beaumont to the inexpressible grief of his wife Jill and children Caoimhe, Eoin and Hugh. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him including his son-in-law Brian, sister Finula, brothers Des and Michael, brother and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. May he rest in peace. Reposing tomorrow (Wednesday) evening from 5pm to 7pm in Carnegies Funeral Home, The Crescent, Monkstown. Funeral Mass on Thursday (16th) at 10am in the Church of the Assumption, Booterstown followed by cremation at Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold’s Cross, Dublin 6w. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired to The Oesophageal Cancer Fund.

McCONNELL, Jan (née Emerson), (Sandyford). January 11, 2023, in the expert, tender and extraordinary care of St Vincent’s Private Hospital, beloved wife for 53 years of Allan; much loved mother of Barry, Diane and Christine; mother-in-law of Tina, Gerard and Alex; adored NanJan of Oisín, Cate, Asia, Antonio and Ben. Loved and remembered always by her heartbroken family, sister Valerie, brothers-in-law David and David, niece Lynne, nephew Keith, the extended family and a wide circle of friends. Memorial Service will take place tomorrow (Saturday) at 11.00am in Dundrum Methodist Church following a private cremation. Family flowers only. Donations to SONAS Domestic Abuse and refuge.
