Ronnie, 11 March 2026, age 91, peacefully and surrounded by his loving family. He will be remembered by his wife Joan who he adored for 64 years, cherished children Lisa, Ronnie, Jennie, Michelle (Mimi) and their spouses, much loved grandchildren, great granddaughter, nieces, nephews, extended family, wide circle of friends and the international sporting community.

Ronnies family would like to extend their deep gratitude and sincere thanks to the wonderful, caring staff at Blackrock Clinic and at Fern Dean Stepaside for their incredible kindness and compassion.

Reposing in Massey Bros. Funeral Home, Blackrock (A94 X308), on Sunday 15th March from 2pm 4pm.

Funeral Mass will be held at the Church of Our Lady of Perpetual Succour, Foxrock (D18 N2F7), on Monday 16th March at 11am. Followed by private cremation service.

Very sadly missed by his loving wife, daughters, sons-in-law Max and Andrew, grandchildren Freya, Max, Simone and Spencer, sisters Miriam and Imelda, brothers Kieran and John, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, former colleagues and friends. Predeceased by his sister Lucille. May he rest in peace. Reposing at Fanagans Funeral Home Dundrum on Friday evening (13th March) from 5pm to 7pm. Removal on Saturday morning (14th March) to the Church of St Thérèse, Mount Merrion arriving for Funeral Mass at 10am followed by cremation at Mount Jerome, Harold’s Cross. MCDERMOTT - (Naas) - March 9, 2026, (suddenly), at home, Tom, loving brother of Regina and beloved uncle of Maoiliosa, Clodagh, Patrick, Susie, Barry, Neil, Donal and Caroline. Beloved wife of the late Paddy, much loved mother of Anne, Clodagh, Paul, John and the late Conor. Sadly missed by her loving family, sister Joan, son-in-law Brendan, daughters-in-law Joanna and Audrey, cherished grandchildren Emily, Imogen, Patrick, David, Mark, Peter, James, Rebecca and Hugh, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends. She will be greatly missed by her beloved husband and best friend Frank of 64 years, her children, Audrey, Gwen, Peter and Susan, her adored grandchildren Kate, Jordan, Matthew, Luke, James, Alex, Leah, Jake and great grandchildren Quinn and Evie, sons-in-law Brian and Brendan and daughter-in-law Claire, sisters Geraldine, Joan and Mary, extended family relatives and friends.
