REIDY - Mary (née O’Loughlin) 29th January 2026 (Shankill, Co. Dublin and formerly Kilteely, Co. Limerick) Peacefully at home in the loving care of her family . Predeceased by her parents James and Mary O’Loughlin and her brothers Andrew and Michael. Beloved wife of David and devoted mother to Carolanne, Brian and Rachel. Sadly missed and remembered with love by her husband and children, sister Colette and brothers James and Brendan, her grandchildren, Ethan, Mary, Cian, Ben, Matthew, Paddy. Lily and Jack, sons-in-law Robin and Colm, daughter-in-law Bernie, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends. May she rest in peace. Hannigan - (née Kelly) Eileen Patricia MCSP, Mount Merrion, Co Dublin, (29 January) peacefully with dignity and grace at home, tenderly and devotedly cared for by her beloved husband Eddie. Adored only child of the late Kathleen Hahassey-Kelly and Michael Kelly. Darling and inspirational mother of Caitriona, Hugh-Michael and Maoiliosa. Will be hugely missed by her devoted husband and children, her adored grandchildren David, Hugh, Alannah, Johnny, Lianna, Oscar and Michael, her son-in-law David, Stephen and Jan, her beloved Joelma, relatives and wonderful friends. Requiem mass at the Church of St Therese, Mount Merrion on Saturday morning (31 January) at 10 am followed by burial at Hollywood Cemetery, Co Wicklow.

BATES - J. Ray, Sandymount (January 6, 2024). Natasha and the Bates family, with Alex and family, wish to thank most sincerely those who sympathised with us at the time of Ray’s death. We thank everyone who attended the Wake, Funeral Mass and Burial in Kilmore Quay and who sent Mass cards, letters and messages of condolence. Special thanks to celebrants Fr Bill Cosgrave and Fr Pat Mernagh and to Dr Peter Lynch for the eulogy. We thank Ray’s neighbours, wide circle of friends and former colleagues at Met Éireann, UCD, U. Copenhagen, MIT, RIA, RDS, Elm Park Tennis, Goethe Choir, Irish Meteorological Society, ICSF, KQ Boat Club and classmates /PPU of St Peter’s College Wexford. We thank the staff of St Vincent’s and Blackrock Hospice for all their care. To all the above we express our deepest gratitude.

CLANCY - Angela (Late of Grattan Street, Dublin 2 and Celbridge, Co Kildare) 26 January 2026. Peacefully at St Francis Hospice, Blanchardstown. Loving sister of the late Mary, Frank and Christopher. Sadly missed by her loving sister Joan, brother Philip, sisters-in-law Una and Della, nieces, nephews, grandnieces and nephews, extended family and friends. Rest in Peace. KELLY - Pat (Nineteenth Anniversary, January 30) - Treasured memories of a beloved wife, mother and grandmother. Remembered with love always and especially today. Brendan, Peter, Vincent and Alison, Stephen and Maria, grandchildren Olivia, Hazel, Isla, Aoife, Pierce, Lochlann and Malachí.

GORMAN - Richard; Internationally renowned artist and painter. Member of Aosdána and the RHA. Of Shiosai Studio, Dalkey, Ireland, and Via Fara, Milan Italy. 29th January 2026, died reluctantly, after a long illness, borne with enormous courage, supported by his wonderful carers, Jenny and Elmie. Richard will be lovingly remembered by his sisters Pamela and Sheila, the Maharry family, and his wide circle of friends and fellow artists, including all at the Kerlin Gallery. Funeral Service on Tuesday (10th February) at 11 am in St. Patrick’s Church, Harbour Road, Dalkey.
