DOHERTY, (née Fallon) Joan (Glenageary, Co. Dublin; formerly Ballinalsoe, Galway) 16th February 2025, peacefully in the exceptional care of the staff of Ashford House Nursing Home Dun Laoghaire. Dearly beloved wife of Dan. Deeply regretted, and will be greatly missed by her daughter Shuna, son Cahir, brother Joe, sister Patt, much loved grandchildren Samarah, Muireann, Michael, Sam, Erin, Daniel, son-in-law Mike, daughter-in-law Diane, extended family, nieces, nephews, friends and neighbours. Joan was predeceased by her parents Joe and Una Fallon and by her sisters Mary (Sr. Gemma) Una and Noelle. May her gentle soul Rest in Peace. Reposing at Quinns of Glasthule tomorrow (Wednesday 19th) from 4pm-6pm. Funeral Mass on Thursday (20th February) at 10am in St. Joseph’s Church, Glasthule, which may be viewed on the following link, https://www.churchservices.tv/glasthule, followed by burial in Kilquade Cemetery. O'HARA, George William (Donnybrook D4, Oxford and Dungarvan); peacefully on 13th February 2025, much loved husband of Neasa and loving father to David, Catherine, Brendan and Michael, brother to Paddy, Ken, Jack and sister Ann (predeceased by his twin brother, Bernard and brother Noel), his 14 grandchildren, his brother and sisters-in-law, close relatives and friends and all of the staff and residents of Mount Tabor Nursing Home in Sandymount. Rest in Peace. His funeral will be held on Monday 17th February at 10am in St. Mary’s Church, Haddington Road, Dublin, followed by burial in Kilternan Cemetery Park, Kilternan, Dublin 18.

CULLEN, (née Egan) (Kilpedder, Co Wicklow, late of Monkstown and Killiney, Co Dublin) - February 15th 2024 (peacefully) in the Blackrock Hospice with her family at her side, Shirley, loving mother of Richard, Jenny and Brian. Sadly missed by her children and their father Peter, daughters-in-law Carol and Teri, adored grandchildren Emily, Charlie, Lucia, Jessica, David, Linda and Jenny, her sisters Valerie and Lorraine, nieces, nephews, extended family and a wide circle of friends both in Ireland and USA. Remembering also her late sister Pat and her recently deceased brother-in-law Derry and Godson Roger. Reposal today (Monday) in Quinn’s of Glasthule from 4.00pm to 6.00pm. Removal tomorrow (Tuesday) to St Patrick’s Church, Monkstown, arriving for 11am Funeral Service which can be viewed on www.churchservices.tv/monkstown followed by burial in Deans Grange Cemetery. “Bye, Bye Mum” XXX

TWOMEY - Michael (Mike) February 16, 2024 - (Blackrock Co. Dublin).

As we lovingly remember Mike on his first anniversary, he is greatly missed by his wife Therese, children Karen, Michelle and David, grandchildren Guy, Callie, Darcey, Victoria, Alice, Elizabeth, Emily, Matthew and Isabelle, his sisters Joan, Freida and Marion, daughter-in-law Julie sons-in-law Greg and Alan, brothers and sisters in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. We would like to extend our appreciation and thanks to all who attended the ceremonies celebrating Mike's life, especially those who travelled from abroad, and to those who sent letters and cards of condolence. Special thanks go to Rev. Canon Gillian Wharton for the very uplifting ceremonies at St.Philip & St. James and the crematorium, to Blackrock Hospice and the Home Care Team, and the doctors and nurses in St.Vincent's Private Hospital. Beloved wife of the late Siegfried. A celebration of Moira’s life will take place at Carey’s Funeral Home Headford (H91 E6X9) tomorrow (Saturday) afternoon from 1.00pm with removal at 2.00pm to Shannon Crematorium for private cremation.
