SIRR (née York), Mary (Fox Lodge, Kilbrennal, Killenaule, Thurles, Co. Tipperary and formerly Longford and Dublin). August 19, 2020. Predeceased by her husband Páraic and brother Brendan. Deeply regretted by her son Lorcan, daughter Aoife, son-in-law Barry, grandchildren Daniel and Megan, sisters Nuala and Evelyn, nieces, nephews, relatives and many friends. Rest in Peace. Arriving at St. Mary's Church, Killenaule, this (Friday) morning at 11.15 am for funeral Mass at 11.30am. Followed by burial in Crosscannon Cemetery. McMANUS Nial, (Downings, Co. Donegal) M.R.I.A.I President of Rosapenna Golf Club August 19, 2020 (peacefully) at his home. Everloving husband of Pauline and much loved father of David. He will be sadly missed by his daughter-in-law, Caitriona, brothers Frank and Gerry, sister-in-laws Susan and Catherine, nieces and nephews, extended family, relatives and wide circle of friends. His remains are reposing at his late residence. Funeral from there this (Friday) morning, going to the Church of St. John the Baptist, Carrigart for Requiem Mass at 11.00 o'clock which can be viewed live on Mevagh Parish Facebook page. Interment immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Due to government restrictions the wake and funeral are private to family and close friends.

FITZGIBBON, Charity (Cherry) Patricia, (née Chaloner) - (Naramata, British Columbia and formerly of Dublin). Cherry, aged ninety-seven, faced death with courage and died peacefully with her daughter, Pamela, by her side in Penticton Hospital, British Columbia, Canada July 28, 2020. A private and reserved person yet she made many friends of all ages. She was an inspiration who will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her. Cherry is survived by her sister, Mary Shackleton (Lucan), children: John, (British Columbia) Thomas (New South Wales, Australia), Frances (New South Wales, Australia), Pamela (British Columbia), and grandchildren, Gamelle and Fletcher (British Columbia). When the pandemic is over a wake to reflect on Cherry's life will be held in Naramata, where her ashes are to be scattered.

MOYNIHAN Shaun (Glenribbon, Lismore, Co. Waterford) August19, 2020, peacefully, at his home, surrounded by his loving family, (former Principal of Cappoquin Boys' National School) - Loving brother of the late Phyllis Brannigan, Eileen Carrie and Joan Walsh.
