RAFTERY, Brian, (“Ashdene”, Strandhill Road, Sligo F91NCP3), September 14, 2020 peacefully surrounded by his family in the exceptional care of the staff at Summerville Healthcare, Strandhill, Co. Sligo. Dearly loved husband of the late Angela (née Williams) and father of Gillian, Brian and Louise. Predeceased by his brother Hugh and sisters Margaret, Joan and Mary. Sadly missed by his loving family, brother Michael (Port Huron, Michigan), sister Helen Duffy (Dublin), sons-in-law Pat and David, daughter-in-law Anette, adored grandchildren, relatives, neighbours and many friends. Rest in Peace. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated in St. Patricks Church, Strandhill, Co. Sligo at 11.00am this (Thursday) morning . Burial follows in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Scarden, Strandhill Road, Sligo. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to R.N.L.I c/o Seán Feehily’s Funeral Home, Cartron Cross, Sligo. In accordance with government guidelines the reposing, Funeral Mass and burial will be private to family and close friends. Funeral Mass will be streamed live on http://stpatrickstrandhill.ie/. Those who may have wished to attend but cannot are welcome to leave a message of condolence on www.irishtimes.com, or in private at Feehilys.ie or by traditional manner.
